Feb 04, 2025Worst Hyatt in Cancun(Breathless not so much)
HONEST REVIEW PROS: The food was decent. My favorite restaurant was the steakhouse and hibachi. Outside of the property is well kept. CONS: 35th birthday trip ruined. Booked an ocean view room and they gave me a room blocked with trees. Plus the room and sheets smelled like mold and mildew. The sheets were very dirty. The room thermometer broke which left the room extremely cold. I slept outside on the balcony the first night due to the room being extremely cold. Called the front desk and they didnt care. Maintenance came an hr later to confirm. They treated me as if I was lying. After maintenance came they tried to switch me to another room that was worse then the one we already had. Arranged a birthday banner but when I arrived it wasn't there. They promised to bring it up but it didn't happen. I literally had to walk down to the lobby myself to ask again. I also witnessed staff constantly harass people and follow them around for smoking in the designated smoking section..What a joke! I won't be returning to this location ever again. THERE ARE BETTER RESORTS THAN THIS. Please choose wisely.

Best description I can give is Loud! Everything was loud. Music at the pool reminded me of being in a Vegas Hip Hop club with everything being played at top volume. If you were by the pool it was imposable to talk. Base would vibrate you whole body. Beach was a little better but still very loud coming from the pools. Had an ocean front room that was wonderful. View was very nice. Couldn't enjoy the balcony from 11 until 5 because of the noise. Couldn't ever hear the surf. The music was that loud. Very disappointed. Restaurants also had horrible acoustics so no romantic atmosphere. Plan on waiting every night for a table up to 1.5 hours. If you want to just bail and go to the buffet, guess what, it is closed every night. Entertainment was not much either. Did not seem like a Mexican vacation. Just to clarify I have been coming to Mexico on vacation yearly for 50 years. This was by far the worst experience that I remember. Not what I would expect from a Hyatt affiliated resort.

Our waiter Jordan made our experience unforgettable. His attitude and kindness was very outstanding. He went beyond our expectation. The quality of the food was perfect. The kitchen was also very accommodating with our food restrictions because we are vegetarian. The reception was very welcoming and the service was fast and very professional.

Good time
Jordan was amazing! Love him! So sweet and helpful and knowledgeable. He made dinner a fun experience. I'll come back just to hang with him. The resort food was ok and the resort room very comfortable and the grounds clean and beautiful. Yesss

Great trip
Manny and Luis are excellent in the entertainment. Manuel, Angel, Hector were great in restaurants. Had a great time! Thank you all staff. We really enjoyed the pool entertaining in the afternoon. We enjoyed yoga in the morning with fit bodies instructor.
