Apr 02, 2025Have breakfast with Lucy at Fresco!
We just got back from an incredible stay at the Renaissance Suites in Aruba, and I have to say, it was pretty much perfect. The suites are newly renovated, and they really nailed it – super modern, comfortable, and just a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The spa was also a highlight – it’s beautiful and the treatments were so worth it. But honestly, the real MVP of our stay was Lucy at the Fresco restaurant. We had breakfast there every morning, and Lucy just made our whole trip. From day one, she greeted us with the biggest, warmest smile, and it felt like we were visiting an old friend. She was so attentive and kind – always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, but never in a way that felt forced or over the top. It was just…genuine. Lucy really made our mornings feel special, and we actually looked forward to seeing her every day. I can’t say enough good things about her – she truly went above and beyond. If I had one little wish, it would be that the suites were adults-only. I’m not a huge fan of having kids around when I’m trying to unwind, but honestly, Lucy’s incredible service made it easy to just enjoy the moment. We’ll definitely be back – and I hope Lucy is still there when we are!

We stayed at wind Creek last week for one night. We picked the resort because of great reviews and we were excited for our stay. I am a personal trainer and I need a gym, which was another reason we picked this resort because the gym looked great! When we arrived and asked to see the gym they said it was closed for renovation. But they had another one across the way at their other location. Except this one was also closed because they were moving the equipment to another gym . It was very unfortunate that they couldn’t keep one open while renovating the other. We were very disappointed. We were then told that we could go to the private island where there was a gym also. Except it didn’t open until eight and our flight left soon thereafter. So I needed to be at the gym early-there was no option for that. Also the gym on the private island had no weights. Which is what I needed. I wish they could have accommodated us more, instead they gave us a free breakfast. Except I didn’t want breakfast. I wanted to go to the gym. They also did not communicate at all to warn us the gyms would be closed. It was not posted any where on their website, there was no email or text. If you want a gym, beware – you might want call ahead to see if it is open, otherwise you may be just as disappointed as we were.

Fantastiskt hotell som ligger väldigt centralt. Underbar frukost, service och standard. Hotellet har en båt som kör in i hotellobbyn och kör shuttle till flamingoön ungefär var 15e minut. Gästerna får besöka ön gratis. Stranden på flamingoön är något utöver det vanliga, rekommenderar VARMT.

Vacation 2025
We return because its safe, clean, quiet and the hotel has great food. The area is walkable which my now 15 yr old really enjoys. All staff from landscaping, pool management,towel hut, bar tenders, service staff at the island you name it!! They come to work with a smile and pride in what they provide.

Another Magnificent Renaissance Vacation
The staff here is amazing! Their private island beach is one of the best beaches on the island. Rosa, Lucy and the morning breakfast team was friendly and personable. The resort is a great mix of family and adult fun. The staff were all super friendly. In room dining was not the greatest but we only ate in 2 nights after too much sun.
