  First Class All inclusive-NOT an oxymoron!!!

  Where to start? This is my 6th visit to Live Aqua; amazingly this is the norm at this hotel. It is not unusual to meet people on their 8th, 14, even 20th visit. This hotel is a beloved gem for a few reasons. For an all inclusive the food is amazing and the restaurants/chefs are incredibly accommodating. I went with a vegetarian and the Chef at the elegant restaurant MB found us by the pool to plan out a special meal for her. Have a special request? The restaurants will do their best to accommodate it, and yes, restaurants not a bunch of buffets, although the breakfast buffet at Siente is wonderful. Next, the rooms. We have been in oceanfront singles to several of the suites. All are lovely with Molton Brown soaps, a fridge full of a variety of drinks and balconies overlooking the ocean. If you can, get a suite! They come with butler service, the club level lounge and the poolside cabanas are included. My first visit I had no idea what to do with a butler and thought it was a bit of a useless amenity...now I realize the butlers are amazing. They can make reservations at the restaurants and cabanas for you. Want something special in your room fridge? Need something ironed/pressed? The butlers make it so. Need to change your airport pick up? Want reservations at an off campus spa or restaurant, they take care of it. I have heard of butlers going to a pharmacy for a guest, decorating a room for a birthday etc. They are as helpful as you allow them to be. This is NOT a party hotel. It is lovely and relaxed with a zen vibe. There is fun with the pool bar, pool aerobics, Mexican night, a circus performance like Cirque de Soliel, a gambling night and fun events at the bar Egos like karaoke and a silent disco but no craziness. Hang out at the pool bar for a few hours and you will have a dozen new friends. All this being said, the reason the hotel truly stands out is their staff. I have never been to another hotel where guests routinely take photos with the staff, bring them gifts, and even invite them to visit in their home country! My second visit I went to the pool hut and, amazingly, Flavio Martinez, who ran it, looked at me, thought a moment and greeted me by name! Incredible. When you arrive you are greeted "welcome home". Flavio is one of the reasons this feels like home away from home. I need to commend a few who went above and beyond for us, and I know I am forgetting some. Julio, a waiter at MB, was so on it. First time we met and beyond being an excellent waiter, he made us feel like we had been longtime guests of him. At the Aqua Club, Guillermo and Omar are legend and make every visit special. Do not miss their espresso martini! Hector, who works at the pool is having his talents wasted. He is so on it and personable he should be a butler or at least a waiter, sorry Hector I do not have a photo. Lastly I need to thank two very special butlers. Alan had been my butler on previous visits. He had time off for most of my visit and was not my butler but he not only remembered me but sought me out several times to make sure life was good and also to wish me a happy birthday! Ernesto was a new butler for me but he exemplified why people return again and again. I loved Ernesto. You would do yourself a favor to request either of them!! If you want a topless foam pool party, this is not the hotel for you. But if you want first class service, an incredible beach, wonderful spa, amazing food and a the most welcoming staff ever, this is for you!

  You’d go back just for the staff!

  We originally booked a different hotel with TUI, but after reading reviews, we decided to switch to this one—and thank goodness we did! My partner and I have stayed in many hotels across Europe, but this one tops them all. The facilities are incredible, the room was fantastic, the pool was beautiful, and the entire resort is just amazing. The staff are excellent and truly take care of you. My partner is gluten-free, and they made sure she was well taken care of. All the tacos are gluten-free, and you can also enjoy gluten-free pizza, fajitas, and more. Very impressive! As someone who's a bit picky about food, I do wish they had a buffet for dinner. The breakfast buffet is great, and there's plenty of food available for lunch by the pool and restaurants, but I just wish there was a buffet in the evenings. Without a butler, you can end up waiting over an hour in the evenings for a table at the restaurants. However, the food in all the restaurants was lovely, and there’s a good variety. Another small thing is that I wish there were more seating in the bar areas, but these are minor issues. The entertainment was excellent, so overall, I would 100% book this hotel again. We’re already looking forward to returning! I can see why people return P.S. The hotel is filled with Americans, which is expected in Mexico. They can be loud and drink a lot, but they’re great company—really friendly and funny!

  It was a great experience. Upgrading to the club member status helped us relax because we had less to worry about!

  We upgraded to club member before arriving at the resort, which made the check in process easy. Eladio and Romero (our butlers) were great. They helped get reservations to restaurants, secure a spot by the pool, and answer any questions we had. The servers and bar tenders at the swim up bar were top notch! They were very tentative to our needs! The entire staff was great and very friendly! We wish there would’ve been more shows/entertainment throughout the day and night.

  Beautiful place, and even more beautiful people

  The ocean and property are heavenly. There is lots of space on the beach to spread out and our walks up and down the beach were lovely. Each restaurant had delicious food and drinks. The mushroom soup at MB was perfection. The staff make Live Aqua Cancun unforgettable. Marco and his skills with the blender started our mornings right with the best-tasting and healthiest smoothies on the planet. Jeremias was sweetly attentive at each breakfast. Ricky, Daniel, Gorge and the talented entertainers kept us laughing and dancing poolside and in the club. I can't wait to return to Live Aqua Cancun!

  Wonderful.

  Edouard is the best! You'll recognize him as the guy who looks like Bruno mars. he set us up at our cabana. The cabana is so wonderful on the beach . The bed is comfortable and it's close to the water. Edouard set us up with fresh linens and towels. the staff keep the drinks coming and they have all been lovely to us. Alejandra is helping us today, but they've all been great. I love that there is no music 🎵 pumping at the beach- it's just the sound of the ocean. We are staying in a suite and a butler is available to help us. Our butler, Sakny has been so good to us! She took care of booking our restaurant reservations, booking the cabanas and answering all our questions. Sakny has checked in with us daily (in person) and has helped to make this trip so special. We have gone to the awua club every evening for a drink. Guillermo is the bartender in the aqua club- he is so nice, hospitable and funny. Oh- I should give a shout out about the food- everything has been so good! Lived our time at viva aqua and will be back for sure!
