1 week at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Resort & Spa
Beautiful grounds, amazing variety of cuisines, friendly and accommodating staff, excellent service all around! We are in our 70's. The Adults Only and All Inclusive features really worked for us. Mid-December was a great time to be there. Weather in the low 80's, not too crowded. We plan to investigate other Secrets properties for our future GoTo vacation spots!

Another Wonderful Visit
We originally visited the Secrets Los Cabos in 2019 and revisited in 2024. We again had a wonderful time and all the things we enjoyed the first time: the openness of the grounds, the beautiful landscaping, the ability to enjoy wildlife, and the superb staff, were still present. We had an Preferred Club oceanfront room in building 8 which looked out over a par three on the golf course and the ocean. Some reviewers complain about the size of the resort and the distances between rooms and other features. This is actually a big plus for us. Some resorts (like Secrets the Vine in Cancun) have a claustrophobic feel to them. I understand that some people have disabilities and have trouble walking up even slight hills, but we appreciated the chance to get some exercise. Each morning after breakfast at the Market Cafe, we walked the grounds looking at the immaculate landscaping and the interesting birds the flowers attracted. Regarding wildlife, the beautiful hooded oriole could be seen around the grounds. Also, the Costas hummingbird. We saw a roadrunner near the putting green, the first for either of us. One morning, a peregrine falcon sat on the corner of a building while we walked by. With the help of binoculars, we saw manta rays and humpback whales jumping out of the water in the ocean. We enjoyed several activities at the resort, including the daily putting contest, dance lessons, and bicycle rides to the nearby marina. We especially appreciated the staff leading these activities with specific shout outs to: Mariana, Frankie, and Axel for biking and putting, plus Alejandra at dance class. We had lunch each day at the Seaside Grill (shout out to Christian!). We highly recommend the fish tacos. We enjoyed all our meals, but especially Himatsu, with the delightfully entertaining Charlie at work. But Oceana (with the very pleasant and helpful manager, Karla) and Portofino are also good. The Mexican dance show and the Circus show were both very good. We enjoyed watching other people dance at the Latin Salsa show. Unlike our first trip, we were not asked about buying a timeshare when checking in. We were happy to not have to spend any of our visit dealing with this. Regarding the Preferred Club, if you are considering this, you should carefully read the extras offered and ask yourself how much you might actually use it. Extras include breakfast at Oceana (which we never used) and the Preferred Club lounge (which we did use). The preferred pool is less crowded and much quieter than the big pool. For us, that made it worth it. But if you are looking for a more raucous crowd, then pass on the Preferred Club pool and go to the big pool. We would also like to give a shout out to the security staff. When some guests staying near our room began to have a loud party at 2:00 am one night, a call to security from one of our other neighbors was all it took to send someone to the loud room to ask them to stop. (Security did call our room to ask us to confirm which room the noise was coming from, but we were already wide awake.) In conclusion, we had another great visit. We highly recommend Secrets Los Cabos.

12/24
First time at Secrets- Outstanding resort with beautiful grounds. Loved the holiday decor for travel in December. The staff is very friendly and attentive- felt welcome the moment we arrived. Would recommend the swim out room to any other traveler. We found it was useful when the pool got too busy. See you soon Secrets!

The BEST!
This was one of our favorite vacations so far! We had a party of 18 and the staff did their best to accommodate us. The pool was the best! Our hostess Ana de la Torre greeted us most of the time for breakfast. She went out of her way to schedule a special anniversary breakfast for my husband and I at the Oceanic. It was the best way to end our stay. The staff was just excellent. Axel was the best at the pool. And Delmar & Miguel entertained our young adult kids. They both became family to us. We are all planning to come back next year. I would highly recommend this beautiful resort to everyone.

Fantastic Entertainment Crew!
Our stay at the resort was made unforgettable thanks to the amazing entertainment crew – led by Ivan and supported by Axel, Francisco, Miguel, and Mariana. They kept us busy with a variety of activities, including hiking, bike rides, pickleball, volleyball, water aerobics, and even a fun nightly disco! Their energy and enthusiasm made every activity enjoyable, and we loved the everyday entertainment. Ivan and the team were always friendly, engaging, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for an active and fun vacation experience!
