  Worth it!

  We went to Ocean Coral and Turquesa with our kids (13 & 11) in January 2025. We stayed in the basic room option. We enjoyed the resort a lot. We were able to try every restaurant available and with the exception of the house wine at the Italian restaurant- we enjoyed all our drinks and meals. Blue Moon was the best and Villa Marina is a Brazilian BBQ which was a (great) surprise to us. The room was an ample size for our family and came with a pull out couch so each of our kids had their own bed. The wrist bands for adults and kids over 12 work as the room key which is also handy and gives the kids some freedom. The staff are very friendly and the resort is clean and has been well maintained. The bowling alley is a cool option. We also enjoyed tennis (we brought our own rackets) and bocce. The evening entertainment is out in the open air which was nice. They also showed the football game on a big screen outdoors - which was fun. The coconut and mango ice creams are the best. The Teen club was our main disappointment. All of the games cost $3 CAD so it was expensive to let our kids go and spend the afternoon there. I would not recommend doing the “shopping tour” offered by the lobby staff. It was basically a high pressure sales trip . Although, the stops at the Cancun sign and Mayan museum were enjoyable. This resort was definitely worth the price and we would stay here again.

  Ocean Coral & Turquesa Great & Wonderful Stay. Highly Recommend!

  My husband & I recently returned from a week's holiday at the Ocean Coral & Turquesa. We had an amazing stay! This is a great resort. The staff make all the difference. They're so accommodating, & willing to aid. We were thrilled with the Activities team, & how they lifted everyone's spirits, during a colder, & rainier week than normally observed. They went way above & beyond to entertain. A breakdown of what we enjoyed: 1. The resort is large. We stayed in block 20, on the third floor. Our room, was full of amenities, & had a beautiful view of the ocean. Room's are well appointed, spacious, & up-to-date with all the conveniences of home. We did not have a "Privilege" room, but this was ok. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 2. Restaurants, & Buffet: buffet was ok. Selection present; yet most of the food, was a little bland, & cooler. Breakfast was the best meal, with egg stations, & assortments of cheeses, deli meats, & fruit. Coffee was amazing. Restaurants: We ate at the Italian; Sensei; Mexican; Route 66; & Blue Moon. Blue Moon, & the Italian were our favorites. Food was amazing. Highly recommend. You require reservations to access the restaurants, with limited seating each night. Upon arrival, they request you download their app, to book your dinner reservations each morning. Ensure you're on the app, at exactly 08:00 hours, to obtain a reservation. By 08:10 all reservations are gone for that day. 3. Pools, are amazing, well cared for, and team's onsite, offer a variety of services. Lots of chairs, & ample space with umbrella's, or shaded area's, if required. Ocean Burger is a fun, & quick service restaurant, that serves burgers, hotdogs (fast food). The food was tasty, well prepared, & quick to arrive. 4. Ocean, Beach: outstanding, with beautiful views. 5. Lobby: grand, and accommodating. 6. Check in & Check out: smooth, & no issues. You're given a fabric bracelet, with a small plastic disk, to unlock your room. Fabric is much more comfortable, than the former plastic bracelets. 7. Alcohol: . This was not our first time at this property. We did notice a difference, with the selection. Selection was reduced, & during meals at restaurants, a push to "buy a bottle of wine," vs. having the resorts product. Mixed drinks, were watered down at times (very obvious). No champagne, offered. Overall this is a great property, for its price-point. I would go back again, & recommend it to my family & friends.

  What a great experience! Staff was absolutely outstanding

  My husband and I visited the resort for a week recently with our 2 year old son. We had the most amazing trip here! The resort itself is beautiful right on the water the beach was great and the pools ! Restaurants and food were great but I have to say what made it the most memorable was the staff ! They went above and beyond to make it memorable. We did upgrade to privilege amenities and had Hector as our Butler, he was absolutely outstanding and very accommodating, made all our dinner reservations , he checked on us daily, visited us at dinner, and even played some football with my son and husband he truly made our experience a 10 and went above and beyond to make our experience amazing ! Jesus was our favorite bartender at the privilege lounge. He was very friendly made the besttt drinks and was a delight to talk with everyday . Angel was as a delight in the privileged lounge very accommodating and a pleasure . As the service from the server at the daisy pool and beach was phenomenal He remembered our names including my 2 year olds son greeted us every day with a huge smile. Last but not least I can’t say enough as well about Gabriella from the Daisy entertainment she went completely out of here way to give my two-year-old the best time ever ! We seen her almost every night for entertainment, and my son loved her extremely! She danced, played and ran around with him every time . The love and attention she gave him was absolutely so memorable! We will definitely be back to this resort to see all our friends that we made along the way on our amazing vacation here ! We Can’t say enough about how great our time was here !

  Excellent Butler service

  Nice resort, I had an excellent 18th birthday celebration. The staff were friendly and accommodating, special thank you "Hector" (butler) who assistes us with all our needs and questions. He is talented and resourceful with regard to all your travel needs in the resort or out off the resort. Food was great at all the restaurants, specially the food of the mexican night. I Would definitely come back! I only wish the resort would have a night club!! Also special thanks to all the bellman, workers from the privilege restaurants and all the other restaurants.
