  First time at VDP

  First time at Villa D'Palmar, took a timeshare offer so cost was decent (but 90min turned into 3.5hrs), regular rates were quoted at USD1000+/day at front desk for all inclusive. Actual value is max 50% of that in my opinion. Pros: Location (beach access), facilities -clean and organized, nice and fairly priced market shop on premise, shower water pressure, good food and room service (Carbon & Italian are best), good entertainment shows (lion king was awesome), very friendly staff (BIG SHOUTOUT TO JESUS & ARTURO, THE LIFEGUARDS, FOR RETRIEVING THE LOST PARATROOPER AND HELPING FIND MY LOCO 5YR OLD, THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE!). Cons: WIFI is terrible, time share reps pushy, room (building 3) smelled moldy (came from the AC vents, we reported and asked for another room but didn't get it), pullout bed was no Bueno, spring breakers were loud at night, not enough shallow pools or slides for kids aged 4 to 10. Conclusion: its a good 3.5 star resort, could be a 4 star with some tweaks. Will consider it again only if I find a deal. Thank you for the hospitality. D.

  Spring Break 2025

  The staff is amazing!!! Alberto was always there to help and handle tough situations well the whole time we were there! He is so friendly and very welcoming. The bell guys are some of the funniest people including Effrain, Eliel, and all the others. Another amazing helpful hand was Antonio he was always checking to make sure we were happy and settled and was great management at the pool! Not only were the bell guys fantastic so were the pool waiters and other servers. Our favorite from the week was Nayeli. She was very fast always efficient and friendly always smiling. She was great with all of the kids and made the trip even more enjoyable. Another waiter that did a great job was Oscar, he was fast and friendly. Nico and Carlos were always wonderful waiters who always helped us and got orders in quickly. They are all very hard workers. The activities people whom stuck out to me were Chloe, Jermey, Alanna, and Francesca. All 4 of them made the pool volleyball, bingo, blackjack, etc. much more exciting and welcoming. They were friendly faces you could see constantly around the pool. And last but not least our service at dinners throughout our vacation was great! Art did an amazing job getting tables big enough for our large group even when they were quite busy. Pedro was amazing at carbon every night we ate there! Louis and sunny both did a fantastic job in the sports bar with friendly faces, polite and quick service. Roberto was an amazing waiter during breakfast in the mornings he started to get our drink orders memorized. All in all the staff at Pal Mar makes the trip much more memorable and fun.

  A must go to and travel to again and again.

  Nayeli at Villa del Palmar went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. Quick, polite and top notch service all around. You will not be disappointed if you are a guest at Villa del Palmar. They make you feel like you are a VIP. Great location, food and comfortable vibe!

  Wonderful, clean, safe!

  The resort is wonderful but the staff takes it to the next level! I would like to acknowledge Andres Cantü at the pool for his amazing service and professionalism. Also, the morning hostess, Graciella, is a blessing- she is so kind and welcoming! The location is close enough to the marina to walk (we walked three times, about 10-25 minutes) or an inexpensive taxi but far enough away from the craziness that is Medano Beach at spring break to make it a great location.

  Great

  The accommodations & staff were wonderful. The blackjack & bingo poolside games could be ran without cash. Simply charge the guests room for play & cards cost. Winners receive room credit. No cash transactions at all! Aruba games work that way, so we don’t get icecream prizes.
