    Happy with Palmar!

    We typically stay at Villa Del Arco next door. Pleasantly surprised; really enjoyed Palmar! Sports bar updated; very fun! Outsides of buildings plus our 2BR suite updated. Excellent service all around: Elite member staff (women in office + Alberto at pool); all pool waiters (Mauricio was excellent), activities staff, and housekeeping - always clean! Plentiful activities for teens and family. Loved adult pool as well. Thank you Thank you!

    Too noisy for those who want a quiet vacation.

    This resort is on its last legs prior to been torn down in two stages starting this May and may be completed end 2027 during which there will be a lot of construction noise. Already maintenance is non existing as we had a plugged drain in the tub, broken stuff of which some were not working and many other issues. If you want a quiet vacation this is NOT the place to go as most rules are not enforced like pool hours, pool chair occupancy and many more. Screaming kids in the pool (which 8am to 9 pm hours) and the entrance until 11:00pm and nothing is done about it. Also the very expensive but poor all inclusive is not worth the money. NEVER we will come back to any Villa Del Palmar as all our the same.

    Diaz and Wilbert at the spots bar, 5 stars!

    Diaz and Wilbert are amazing! They are friendly, outgoing and engage the patrons at the bar! They are professional and know their drinks. I appreciate them remembering our names and what we drink. They made our experience at the Sports Bar a great experience!! They kept us coming back every night!! Wonderful employees!!

    A great spring break

    We had an amazing stay. The food was far better than we expected. The service was incredible all around. Nayeli, our pool side server, was so attentive and helpful. I would absolutely go back. In fact, I would love to go back now. The beach, pools, rooms, and all were great.

    Oscar is the best!

    We were at VDP in March 2025. Oscar at the pool was amazing. We had a family group of 11 and AI. We kept him running and he kept up with us. He was professional yet personable. I can’t imagine how many steps he puts in each day! Thanks so much Oscar!!
