Amazing Resort We have been here at least 5-6 times since they opened the food is great they have entertainment by the pool and in the evening. Service is by far the best. The beach is beautiful Our butlers Eduardo and Carlos go above and beyond to take care of us with anything we asked for.

Unico 20.87 November 2024
This was our 3rd trip to Unico this year and we traveled as a Chairman. Unico experience gets better every time we visit. We had another fabulous week and would like recognize the following staff who made our week even more enjoyable: First, the Butlers, Roger, Israel and Carlos who are top notch! Each morning, We were welcomed by Alejandra, the hostess at 20.87 who knew our name, room #, and where we liked to sit. Gabby, our waitress, also called us by name and provided us excellent services and knew exactly what we wanted as soon as we sat down. When we made our way to the HOF pool, we were greeted by Maria with a friendly smile, who already had our towels set up on our seats. Raymundo at the HOF bar was at our service all day and took excellent care of us. We would like to mention Miguel es el de, the manager at 20.87 restaurant and Irving es el de, the manager at Mi Carisa, who both went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience for our evening dinners at their respective restaurants The evening art and craft classes offered nightly were so enjoyable, with our favorite class being tile finger painting class, offered by Jorge Lopez. He is an excellent instructor and made this class fun for all! The group mixology class run by Louis was informative and fun as well. We also participated in a chocolate cooking class which we very much enjoyed. Jacqueline in customer relations was very friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure we were taken care of Last, but certainly not least, we want to recognize Marisela, who was working in the Palmetto Bar each night for this stay. She has been with Unico since the resort opened in 2019 and always gives us excellent service. We enjoyed seeing her nightly after our fabulous dinners. She is a true asset to Unico.

Perfect couple getaway
The resort is beautiful! Perfect space to explore while still having everything you need conveniently placed. The staff is super helpful and Mario was there to answer any questions we had. We are big foodies and the food did not disappoint! Will be back for sure.

AMAZING VACATION!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We were treated like Royalty from the time we were picked up from the airport until we were dropped back off! Our concierges, Israel and Roger took care of all our resort needs. They were OUTSTANDING! Unico 20 87 is a MUST VISIT in Mexico.

Wonderful Honeymoon Resort
We recently stayed at Unico 2087 in Riviera Maya for our honeymoon (7 days, 6 nights), and it was a truly memorable experience! The resort is stunning, and the service exceeded our expectations. Our local host, Ishmael, went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. He checked in with us frequently and even surprised us by arranging a romantic room service breakfast. The staff throughout the resort were consistently friendly, helpful, and prompt. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Esencia Spa for hydrotherapy and massages. Both treatments were incredibly relaxing, and our massage therapists, Victoria and Oscar, were excellent. We also went snorkeling with Andrea, who made the experience enjoyable and stress-free, even as first-timers. She was patient and helped us fully appreciate the beauty of the activity. We also booked a few excursions through the Travel Makers, which added so much to our trip. Diego, who helped us with our bookings, was absolutely hilarious and worked with us to find the perfect excursions to fit everything we wanted to see. Although we had a hiccup with one excursion sending us on the wrong booking, Paola and the manager were incredibly helpful in resolving the issue quickly, which we really appreciated. The dining experience was outstanding! The restaurants serve small portions, which was perfect because we could try a variety of dishes. Since the resort is all-inclusive, we took full advantage of the diverse menu. The waitstaff were attentive, and Jasmine, one of the restaurant hosts, stood out for her warmth and effort to remember us every time we visited. Unico 2087 offers a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere ideal for relaxation. It’s not a party resort, though there is a lounge that turns into a nightclub in the evening. The pools are well-maintained and staffed, and while the beach is small, it’s tranquil and perfect for unwinding. The only downside to our stay was the pressure to purchase a membership. They offered a free couple’s massage in exchange for attending a presentation about their upcoming projects, but it quickly turned into a high-pressure sales pitch. Despite repeatedly declining, the sales team persisted aggressively, even making rude comments about our financial situation. This experience lasted three hours and put a damper on our mood. Despite this hiccup, our overall experience was amazing. From the attentive staff to the incredible excursions and dining, we’re already looking forward to returning in the future!
