Things to Know
- The resort is just five minutes from the airport. Breathe and you'll be on the beach.
- Buy your transfers (from us) to and from the airport. It'll be one less thing to worry about.

- You've got four nosheries with scrumptious cuisine and settings.
- Dive into aqua aerobics for the exercise thing, or water polo for the competition thing.
- In addition to snorkeling, there's parasailing, motor boating, or Hobie catting (is that a word?).
- You can play shuffleboard and tennis, but if you want a smaller court, there's always ping-pong.
- There's volleyball to enjoy, but if you want near zero physical movement, there's Spanish lessons.

We had a pleasant stay at Meliá Cozumel. Our room was comfortable and the cleaning staff was fantastic. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The quality of the food was good but not a lot of variety. The grounds were clean and well maintained.

The resort itself is very nice and clean with a great atmosphere. If you want somewhere to just relax and get away from it all then this is your place. As a bonus you will have an exceptional experience with the resort staff. The restaurants are Very nice, and the wait staff is Outstanding! We have been her a couple times now using "The Level" experience (which I highly recommend). I'm sure we will be back.

GIVE THEM ALL A RAISE!!!!!
Jorge & Justo at Mole & Tacos absolutely made our first day of the trip so memorable. We are here celebrating my dad’s 50th birthday and he gave us the best customer service and the most smiles and laughs. The food was also phenomenal cooked by Wili & Manuel. We told them to surprise us with the dish and we were blown away by the flavors. Day 1 and we already want to come back here tomorrow for the vibes and food. Attention manager Jorge: give them a raise!!!!!

Great for Families
We had a great time at Melia Cozumel. The resort was just the right size with lots of activities to keep our kids' happy and the location can't be beat. Our kids loved Miss Sussy who led the kids activities and begged to go to at least 2-3 activities each day. Emily who led the adult activities was also good. The only slight complaint was that we always had only three or fewer clean towels left in our room (even when we called and/or left a note requesting four). As we had four guests registered for the room, we didn't think it was too much to ask for a clean towel for each person but our request was never granted. Also, ants had overrun the bathroom and got all over our toothbrushes (yuck), so we had to store them in the main room which was luckily ant free.

A lovely Cozumel vacation
Our first impression of the resort totally did not reflect how we felt by the time we left. Our first day was marred by a VERY damp room (pillows were wet, room was extremely humid, and all of our belongings were damp), and our first visit to the buffet was so very, very disappointing. After our first night of very little sleep and very hungry tummies, we tried to stay positive and give the resort another chance. And we’re so glad we did. The rest of our stay improved immensely. The service at Meliá Cozumel stands out as some of the best I’ve seen We mentioned our room concern to our concierge and we were moved to a much better room on a higher floor. As we had originally upgraded to the Level when booking our vacation, our food choices definitely improved. The Fish House for breakfast was amazing (thank you, Veronica. You are beyond awesome) Ian at the Level beach area booked our three allotted upgrades to papalas in the level area. Having a shaded area to sit made such a difference ! The staff there are always so attentive and happy! What can I say about their beach except fantastic? Just perfect for us. It’s definitely a quiet and laid-back smaller place , which is what we wanted and needed. The adults-only pool with the swim up bar was also amazing. And strangely the buffet got better as the week went on. Don’t get me wrong, the food at best is 2.5 there but everything else is so much better. We ended up loving the place.
