Might have to reconsider for future!
We have spent many holidays in CTI and enjoyed every one of them with no exceptions. But I agree with a previous review that some of the standards are slipping over the years but not reflected in the price. The staff in all areas are what make this hotel great. The food in all restaurants was ok this visit but not as good as previous years. Often served cold. Drinks are good and of a high standard, just ask for high brand when ordering your drink. Rooms are a bit dated but immaculately clean. We had a couple of issues which were mainly resolved but really shouldn’t have had to deal with even small issues at the price we pay. The journey to and from the airport is awful! Not the hotels fault but the roads are so so busy it is a bit scary. Might have to reconsider if we will ho back again for this reason and also because we noticed that the “couples “ theme is getting less and less with large groups arriving which are not necessarily in couples relationship. Because of this it is harder to get into the restaurants and is completely changing the vibe of the hotel that we have always loved. Loyalty doesn’t seem to mean anything anymore as we have been going for about 20 years and this year had the worst view from our room ever. We did point it out but all other issues were sorted but no mention of the room! However we had a great holiday but might have to move on.

Still good but the roads from airport ……..
Wonderful time again - 7th visit. The staff really make CTI so attractive. Pros: Staff (exceptional) Food - all restaurants ( although declining quality compared to previous years) Cleanliness Gardens Piano bar Silver Birds (exceptional) entertainment Beds- large and comfy Cons: Travel from Montego Bay airport - 2 hour journey- minimum. We have noticed the traffic getting worse each time for the past 7 years. Quite frankly, the road infrastructure cannot cope and serious investment is required. Travel back yesterday took 4 hrs and 15 mins due to an accident. Chaos was an understatement. We managed to get our flight but several others missed their flights. This was not a ‘one off’ as we had experienced the poor roads on previous visits. CTI driver was fantastic. Many more hotels being built and more people have cars now so the roads are heavily congested. There are no alternative roads to use - essentially 1 road from airport to CTI or Sans Sochi. It is for this reason that we are unlikely to book again. Think very carefully when booking - 3-4 hours on a small coach or taxi is not something we want to do again. There is an alternative airport at Ocho Rio’s with flights from Miami. Literally 10 mins away although the flights are limited. If we do go again we we use this route even though there are direct flights to MBay from UK. Rooms are very tired now - not 5 star. They are clean but extremely dated. Urgent investment is required. We have noticed small declines over the years- nothing major but each time we go the quality reduces. Drink & food choices/ quality are notable. Cost - the cost now for UK travellers is expensive compared to other similar destinations and cruises. My fear is that Couples will shortly be pricing themselves out with more attractive alternatives. Finally, the resort is great with exceptional staff who really do make the stay enjoyable. Kemal (waiter) Whitney (piano bar) Adrian ( gardener) and Paulette (guest services) are stars. Think VERY carefully if using Montego Bay airport - we won’t be doing this again. After a 10 hour flight the last thing you want is a taxi ride exceeding 4 hrs or even 2-3 on a good day.

Had a great time....
We had a great time. The staff, food, and entertainment were excellent. We had high winds for a few of our vacation days, so the island and the water sports were closed but we still had a great time. I highly recommend the couples massage. I have been to other all inclusive resorts, and what I think makes Couples Tower unique is that the resort never felt crowded.

Great Time at CTI
We recently stayed at CTI and had a great time. Not everything went perfectly, but we aren't the type who lets a few disruptions or inconveniences ruin a vacation. We had a Ocean View Jr Suite, which overlooked the main pool. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had a small shower and jacuzzi tub (never used the tub). Really no complaints with the room itself. However, we filled out the liquor request before we arrived and then through the website with the given QR code. Nothing was delivered. I stopped by the lobby regularly throughout our stay and made my request. Our order was delivered fairly quickly after that. We ate at all of the restaurants over our stay. I had no complaints with any of the food. It was perfectly fine, resort quality food. The nicer restaurants gave us an opportunity to dress up a bit and take sunset pictures. I've seen other reviews complain about this and it was a little bit irritating, but shade is at a premium at pools and the island. It wasn't that big of a deal the first couple of days, but by the last couple, my skin was begging for shade. I was able to find some at the beach though. Others have mentioned this, but the beach is not huge and not much of an area to swim in the sea if that's your thing. A couple of comments about the island...they do have pairs of chairs scattered over the small island, but the majority of the people during our stay setup around the pool/bar. We usually only went to the pool to cool off and bar to refresh our drinks. I strongly recommend at least going out there once during your stay. You really do forget that you're naked. Regarding the excursions, we tried to do the resort swap to San Souci, but by the time I asked, they were fully booked. We did the shopping bus trip to get our souvenirs. The bus stopped at 3 different areas. That was was the only time we left the resort. Finally some tips...bring your own cups, make your reservations for the excursions on the first day of your trip, go to or call the lobby directly to request drinks be brought up to your room, bring sunscreen and aloe with you and don't let little inconveniences ruin your trip. No problem...

Fabulous all inclusive resort!!
We arrived at 11pm feeling dead tired after a long and complicated flight from Hartford but were soon shown to our room and lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the waves. This is a beautiful resort! We had a Premier Ocean view room with double doors that open up to the warm sea breeze. It had a large closet, walk in shower and was bathed in sea green with a large balcony. Beautiful sheer curtains could be drawn over the doors to create a billowy effect. There were only two drawbacks to the room. One is that, on the balcony, there wasn’t a table on which to enjoy room service even though there was plenty of room for it. The other is that the pillows on the bed were very hard. The bed itself, however, was very comfortable. Staff was very responsive and most went way out of their way to assist you. For example, we went to the guest computer to print our boarding passes but the computer was unable to connect to the internet. So Marieketa at the front desk went back and spent a good amount of time to print them for us. She was just so nice and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful with freshly baked crispy croissants and pastries and freshly prepared eggs (any way you want them)! There were so many more choices as well. The Veranda was beautiful at night and the food was excellent. This was our favorite for dinner. Eight Rivers had the best ambience but the Duck breast and Beef Tenderloin were not tender However the lamb chops were very good We arrived at Bayside in the rain and were met by the Manager who first said we were late ( thought we were someone else) then said we were early. Not the most pleasant staff member there but that was very unusual! Bayside food was good The highlight of the trip was the private dinner on the island!! We arrived by the transfer ferry and were greeted by our server with two glasses of champagne when we arrived. Then we were shown to our table which was stunning!! The surf and turf was cooked to perfection and was delicious! After dinner the chef came over to see how we liked it and talked to us about the preparation. The evening Manager also came over to see how we were enjoying the resort We had the best time here and can’t wait to return!!
