  Best Beach in Cancun! Great Staff! Excellent Overall!

  Just got back from Dreams Sands Cancún and it was excellent! Super friendly staff that go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Our favorite part was when you walk out of the lobby you are just steps away from the beautiful white sand and crystal blue, calm ocean!

  Avoid if Tropical Drinks are part of your vacation plan

  I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality/taste of the alcoholic beverages. The ingredients used in the mixed drinks made them all have an unpleasant, strong artificial sweetener. This was consistent across all resort bars and drinks, unless I ordered beer, gin & tonic or alcohol straight/on the rocks with no mixers. I would actively advise others to avoid the resort solely due to this significant quality issue with drinks IF that is important to you. Ultimately relaxing with tropical fruit flavored drinks on vacation is the primary reason I chose a Cancun beach vacation and I was completely unable to enjoy this key part of my stay. **To be 100% clear, this was not due to the bartenders who are excellent, it was clearly the ingredients the resort stocked. Other thoughts: the beach was nice BUT often difficult to get a spot/beach chair unless you have paid more to upgrade to the higher tier/room rates. This is because a majority of the beach was only accessible to the more expensive rates so the beach chairs for the normal rooms/stay level were typically all taken up by late morning. :( The staff overall were really impressive in many ways. The restaurant waiters were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and on par with what you'd get at a high end restaurant. The bartenders also great and extremely fast, I wish they worked at my local bar! In closing, the drinks were really bad due to the bad taste of all fruit mixers stocked at resort, the staff were awesome and impressive in most cases, the beach is pretty but you can't enjoy a good tropical drink and have limited space/chance to get a seat if you don't pay to upgrade to the highest room rates.

  Perfect family vacation

  We had an amazing vacation. The beach as everyone says is absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious at every restaurant, our favourite being the Mexican and the Asian. The catch of the day and the fish tacos and shrimp tacos (on the preferred menu) for lunch were our go-to. A shout out to the entertainment staff who put on an amazing show each night. The Mexican night was a blast, and we loved the pop show as well. Manuel, one of the entertainment staff members was so sweet to my two girls (3&5). He went out of his way to make them feel special and weeks later they are still talking about the special medals he gave them. We all cannot wait to go back for a future visit.

  Amazing service!

  The bar services were fast and efficient. Excellent drinks! Our room was kept clean with a full fridge. Bartender Andy, and concierge member Roberto are amazing people! The beach was so bright and clean. Loved the fact that you can walk so far out into the water and see the bottom! We will be back!
