    Alex was the best!

    Did not like the preferred system. There were not enough chairs because of this, pool or beach. Luckily, Alex was fantastic and made us a way to some chairs. Very appreciative of Alex and his professionalism. He made our vacation so much better!!! Beach was great, so close and clear! Buffet was not good but specialty restaurants were very good.

    Super clean, lovely staff, incredible beach! Not enough servers, not enough lounge chairs, missing pool tiles a hazard.

    PROS: The white beach sand was so fine it was buttery soft, and clean. The turquoise water was gorgeous, sheltered and stayed shallow for so far out I never had to worry about the safety of my 6 and 9 year olds. This was the best part of my stay. I barely saw any insects across the resort, nothing inside ever! I have a phobia so that was really nice. The staff kept all spaces super clean. Every single service staff was lovely and warm and welcoming. The food at the buffet was decent. Some days it was incredible (ALL the soups are incredible, and I'm not a huge soup person), and some days it was not great, like the leftovers were re-cooked and got mushy. Hard to predict. CONS: Though each staff was wonderful, there were not nearly enough servers at the beach or pools - it took over an hour to get a drink sometimes. When you're watching your children play it's not easy to leave the water to go get drinks. The number of lounge chairs by the pools and beaches are absurdly few for the number of guests - this is the number one reason I don't think I'll be coming back. What's the point of paying all that money if you don't get to enjoy the beach and pool? And we paid extra for the preferred club - still not enough chairs! I saw something online saying there were two heated pools, but there was only one, so that's the one everyone went to, making it crowded. The heated pool was missing hundreds of tiles, which leave a sharp edge in the empty spot. My son cut his foot, and I nearly did too. The pillows on the beds were absolutely awful. My neck hurts now, days later. They are so fat and thick but also firm, that it was impossible to rest your spine at a natural angle. My kids preferred no pillow, and my husband and I did our best to crush them down somewhat, but still struggled to sleep comfortably. There were a dozen decorative pillows, but no good options to actually sleep on.

    Great resort!

    Was our first time at this resort and we were pleasantly surprised. Location was great, food was great and the beach was AMAZING! We really enjoyed our vacation and would definitely go back . During our stay we were very lucky to have 2 amazing servers, Magaly and Nidelfia that went above and beyond to make sure we had all that we needed and of course made sure our drinks were always flowing 😉 we are truly grateful to the both of them as well as all the other hard working staff that we met along the way.

    OTHER PLACES TO GO

    SPA EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION, MULITPLE PEOPLE PAID FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP AND DID NOT LIKE HOW IT CAME OUT AND THE LADY JUST DISAPPEARED NO WHERE TO BE FOUND SO WE PAID AND THEN REMOVED OR RE-DID IT OUR SELVES. THIS IS LIKE 7 OF US THEN WENT FOR SPA SERVICES WERE GIVEN $200 IN ROOM CREDIT YOU CAN NOT USE

    The perfect beach getaway with stellar service!

    Great vacation spot all around and family friendly. Beautiful beach, clean rooms, stunning views, and lots of pools. The best part was the service by far!! Antonio in the spa was wonderful! He was kind and I felt as though he was extremely accommodating and easy to get along with. Additionally, the beach side service from the staff near the Olio restaurant were absolutely amazing and very attentive!! The guy walking around was absolutely stellar and was always happy to bring whatever anybody needed with a smile. Finally, the service at the buffet was exceptionally for Breakfast specially. Very impressed with the kindness and accommodations from the staff at Dreams Sands and the food options were great for an all inclusive.
