Not Worth the price
If you or your child has allergies, do not stay here. We went through the process of reporting my younger brother's allergies to the front desk and even received an allergy card. Regardless, twice his allergies were not taken seriously and he had 2 reactions and had to administer an epipen. We specifically said he has egg, seafood and nut allergies and once he was served pasta with egg and the second time was pure negligence by one of the restaurant personnel. My brother could have died being that he has life threatening allergies but despite reporting these instances to the hotel all they say is we cannot guarantee cross contact. Its a modern time where allergies are not uncommon anymore and it is truly sad that this hotel does not take them seriously nor seem to care about the well being of their guests. Also, I should point out that if you are not caucasian you should not stay here. The workers in the hotel believe that only white people tip so they go above and beyond to provide great service only to caucasians and not people of color. I was happy to give out $5,10 even 20 to any workers who provided us good service but unfortunately we did not have that chance. Such a shame, because its such a nice resort otherwise but these things are disgusting and unattractive of a resort. We will not be returning.

Amazing resort for a family trip !!
This was our first trip to jamaica and myself and my entire family had an amazing time at the bahia principe grand resort (we stayed there for almost a week). 1) Room : Amazing ocean view (we were on the highest floor) , comfy bed , big balcony .Room was a little outdated but it was functional and comfy for our family. 2) Staff : Each and every staff member(from all different departments) at bahia was very courteous and was always happy to help . They really made us feel special . Special thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Donnette from housekeeping , Brit from entertainment , Kevin from mikado -teppanyaki and Aretha and tasheka from the spa. Each one of you is a rockstar and its people like you who make the resort truly amazing :) 3) Food : Lots of choices in buffets and the food was delicious too . Also would highly recommend don pablo , dolce vita and mikado teppanyaki (ala carte restaurants) .Also, the servers in the buffet and ala carte restaurants are phenomenal . They will take very good care of you :) 4) Entertainment : Each and every day was full of entertainment (for both kids and adults) .We loved the magic show, kids foam party ,xaymaca , titanium show ,beach party and the fire show on the beach. All of the entertainment shows were very well organized and coordinated. 5) Cleanliness and maintenance : The entire resort was clean and maintenance is also top notch .Kudos to the staff for maintaining it so nicely . 6) Pool and beach area: Very well maintained and clean. Pool bars were also amazing. Small suggestions for improvement: 1) Get the staff elevators fixed in building 23 (where we stayed), it was very inconvenient for both staff and the guests to use just one elevator. Also, there was no fan in the elevator which made it a bit uncomfy (especially if it was full). 2) Need to renovate the rooms . I know bahia has already done the renovations in 2 buildings and more will be done in the future .But once its done it will definitely elevate the whole guest experience . Overall we had a great experience at this resort . Will highly recommend it to all travellers that are travelling to jamaica for the first time :) Thank you to the entire team at bahia principe grand . You guys rock !!! Cheers , Vishal and Nupur

No one top shelf liquor without charge not even their local rum Bob Marley drink to be found on entire resort . At the lobby bar they charged us for items that was free and asked for cash only. Front desk told us after. The food was poorly presented at Buffet.

Unbelievable Food Choices. Food galore.
The hotel is just wonderful. The best think about it is the unbelievable food choices at the buffet. Can't believe it. Every meat choice was available - except lamb. Jamaican food, American food, Mexican chicken, variety of seafoods - Just excellent. The waiters are very attentive and fairly friendly and helpful. The drivers/operators of the golfcarts are wonderful, alert and professional. The picked up my daughters and wife without they asking and took them to the lobby, which was a distance - and they did not say anything unprofessional. Wonderful. These little things impress me as a father and husband. Room big enough and comfortable. Big pool area and the night entertainment was family fun for every minute

Worst experience ever!
If I could rate this resort lower, I would. I can pretty much make a good situation out of a bad one, but this one I could not. On my last night there, someone came into my room and stole my money. It's me and another female staying. We are in a balcony on the first floor. We check the balcony door nightly to ensure that it's locked. Between the hours of 7:15 and 9pm, when we were at dinner, someone entered our room, and took the money. Security and police wad called. The closet door to the safe was open and the patio door was open. The room is air controlled by the door so once open, air cuts off. The air was on when we left, and off when we returned. The resort did nothing or offer any support other than offer an apology. I asked about cameras, there's none on the balcony or any that show the balcony. Only an employee would know that. Why not have cameras on the outside? So, if traveling alone or a couple of females, be careful! I wouldn't recommend this resort.
