Resort Details

You don’t have to go far for delicious food and drinks, these options have you covered.
OnSite Dining
  • Dragonfly

Caribbean cuisine is a marvelous collection of ingredients, flavors, and textures. It begins with the simplicity of the aboriginal food. It is then is enhanced with the plants, seeds, and spices that originate from Africa, combined with those conveyed on sugar ships and sailing vessels from England, France, Spain, Holland, and Denmark and influenced by Asian flavors brought by indentured laborers from China and India.

  • Embers
Situated on our beautiful crescent-shaped beach, Embers is renowned for its island-casual atmosphere and fresh barbeque and grilled specialties. Its signature JA Wrap features a roti flatbread wrapped around shredded jerk chicken, rice, peas and veggies. Embers is also the setting for an elaborate Sunday brunch buffet. Just steps away, kids of all ages stop by Toppers Ice Cream Shack for ice cream, smoothies and homemade sorbets, which are complimentary for guests on the all-inclusive plan.
  • Jammers Restaurant & Bar
The resort now offers a total of 5 bars, 7 culinary experiences, and 220 units. Basking right at beachside, Jammer's Beach Bar & Grill offers all-day dining in a laid-back but lively atmosphere. Here, beachgoers can relax and chat in the shade, sipping ice-cold beers and cool tropical drinks on the sheltered deck. The casual setting offers a rather surprising backdrop for exquisite dishes such as Jammer's signature shrimp creole -- Chef Munn's Caribbean version of shrimp Provencal. The menu also features burgers, rotis (wraps), salads with fresh island ingredients, and a variety of other temptations.
  • Papa Don's Taverna
For scrumptious cuisine and delicious views of the Caribbean, the mountainside terrace of Papa Don's Taverna is without peer. An intimate Mediterranean-style taverna, open for dinner, Papa Don's has long been known for its pasta and pizza. Now Chef Munn has expanded the menu to encompass the cuisines of Greece and the surrounding region. Papa Don's exquisite signature dish, Moroccan Roasted Dorado, is served with a lime-honey-yogurt sauce, pomegranate syrup and couscous. Bring your zest for life and fine food and enjoy both to the fullest.
  • Upper Deck
In the evenings at Windjammer Landing's romantic Upper Deck restaurant, steak & seafood provide the mouthwatering theme. Exceptional meals in a beautiful multi-level setting, overlooking the beach and bay, are a favorite of guests who have an appetite for something special. Angus beef and the freshest fish and seafood are featured on an a la carte menu offering a choice of preparation method, sauces and accompaniments to suit your palate.

Mediocre at best with a public health situation

Check in was well after the stated time. We were upgraded as a part of our package but our main living space was completely open to the outside- birds coming in and pooping in our personal items, no air conditioning. We were moved 1/2 way through. My husband was sick 2 days and 2 nights just like many others on the resort. Every single family had 1-2 people get sick. This ruined 1/2 of our trip. I had to fight to get a mere $200 credit which doesn’t come close to making up for the lost time we experienced. The resort claims it is norovirus which many of us don’t believe and they aren’t letting people know ahead of their arrival even though there are trip advisor reviews with this issue for months. We booked so long ago we never went back to look at more recent reviews or we would have cancelled as many other families also said they would. We have been all over the Caribbean and for the cost, poor service, mediocre food and outdated rooms with inconsistent house keeping- we would never come here again. The views are spectacular and the water sports were awesome, but the water is full of seaweed and not clear. There are tons of rocks in the sand when swimming. The pictures make the water look amazing but it’s some of the worst we have seen in the Caribbean. Our kiddos met a lot of other kids and loved that- we also enjoyed meeting other families; however, that isn’t something the resort controlled. We did the Jammers all day boat tour and while the stops were super cool, the staff on the boat was SO rude. It really dampened the overall experience. Overall, the service had pockets of positivity, but it was the rudest in all of the islands we have been on. When the kitchen messed up our meals (which happened nearly every single day) and caused us to wait 30-60 extra minutes every time, the staff was exasperated with us. Once we were offered removal of an item from the bill which meant nothing because we are all inclusive. Speaking of bill- you waste TONS of time every single day waiting for and signing a bill for every single thing you order. It’s super annoying. This also meant we had to accompany our kids to get simple things like ice cream. The only people we talked to who gave the resort high marks were people who owned a timeshare (this financially vested) or had only ever been to this resort. Six other families we talked to who travel more, were all disappointed and didn’t feel like the pictures and marketing matches the experience at all. Not a single group said they would come back.

    Very Relaxing

This was my second time visiting St. Lucia but my first stay at Windjammer Landing. The resort is absolutely beautiful! The pictures on the website does not do it any justice. The view from our villa was breathtaking. The staff are some of nicest people I have ever met (and I have been to a number of islands in the Caribbean). From the warm welcome you get when you are checking in to the "Good Morning" from each person you walk by just made my stay a great one. Our Ambassador was Rohan and boyyyyy he was amazing!! Rohan checked on us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed or answered any questions we had regarding the resort. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. He provided suggestions for town and other activities we wanted to do outside of the resort as well. Two of our favorite shuttle drivers were Niles and Jimmy (I think I even made him smile). All the shuttle drivers are polite and accommodating. With all of the narrow roads and hills to navigate, they drive those shuttles like true pros! Jammers is one of the restaurants on the property and was our go to spot for lunch! The pools are well kept and big enough for everyone to have fun. However the chairs along the pool go pretty quick because folks claim them by leaving a towel or something on it. That wasn't a big deal to me as we just sat at a round table near the bar. At night, there is not much going on at the property. Sometimes resorts would have an all white party or a themed event but Windjammer is more of a relax and chill place. Thank you to all of the staff. They are the ones that make it all worthwhile. Also, i would be remissed if I did not mention Lisa ans Cynara!!! My two fav gals😊. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back!

    Wonderful Holiday in Upscale Resort

My husband and I sent a glorious 10 days at the Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences. We opted for the all-inclusive package. It is also children friendly. Our room was large, modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and the pressure was great. Our housekeeper Ginny was wonderful and came every day. The report is on a hill and you can walk to the main area of the resort or dial “0” and have a shuttle service within seconds. The resort itself is well maintained and beautiful. We had an “ambassador” assigned to us to help with any of our concerns or to make any reservations. Our ambassador was Rohan and he was WONDERFUL, HELPFUL, AND FRIENDLY. By the way, it is Canadian owned. The beach was clean, glorious, and well stocked with many beautiful lounge chairs and umbrellas. The beach staff was friendly and brought drinks and food in an efficient and professional manner. The beach has two bars as well. There were pla Entry of chair covers and towels. The resort has two local vendors who are friendly and not pushy. It has a jewelry store and a mini mart. They also have a tours office where you can book various Island tours. The pool area is beautiful, clean, and busy. A lot of the children enjoyed this area. It is also where some activities took place. The restaurants were delicious and they were 5 of them. UPPER DECK offered the best steak I have ever had. JAMMERS had the best oxtail I have ever had. PAPA DON had the best sea bass. DRAGONFLY grat seafood especially the red snapper and held a Carribean night that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. EMBERS was more casual but the food was just as good. The staff at the restaurant was very professional and the cocktails and wine were yummy. You need to St. Lucia as the people are the happiest We have ever met. Outside the resort, the merchants are not pushy. The weather was perfect and warm. The Island’s Pitons was well worth it. We took a private day tour with MORE THAN A CAB and that was absolutely worth it. Also took a Pitons Sunset Tour which was wonderful. The vacation was memorable and enjoyable. Cam and Yoli

    Overall great family vacation

My family and I stayed here the last week of February and had a great experience, with a few small hiccups. Our room (302A) was beautiful and clean, with a good amount of space for a family of 3. We had a great view of the resort and the ocean. On day 3, they started construction outside of our balcony but we were out and about almost all day so it didn't impact us. Housekeeping was great. We only had to walk down a small hill to get to all the amenities and didn't have to rely on a shuttle. However, when we did use a shuttle we saw how talented the drivers are! Navigating those hills is not for the faint of heart, but we learned that a lot of drivers have been there for 7+ years. The spa is phenomenal and we visited it twice during our stay. Highly recommend! The beach is lovely and we didn't have a problem with finding beach chairs, although we did hear that two grown men got into a fight over chairs during our stay. We had zero problems. It should be noted that there is a roped-off swim area that includes floats, a trampoline, and a slide. The other area is prone to sea urchins and not really swimmable. We never felt crowded in the water at all though. Take advantage of some of the beach activities offered during the day! Sanjay was super friendly and got our family to try out some fun things like darts, soccer, and giant Jenga. The food was good, but nothing memorable, except for the steakhouse. We all had dinners there that were delicious, and we have to thank Frances for her warmth and graciousness and Edwin who waited on us several times. It was a pleasure getting to know him as he expertly served us. The cocktails offered everywhere were amazing, and Zedan at the beach bar was incredibly friendly and remembered our names each time we saw him. He definitely went above and beyond. We had read reviews before we arrived on vacation, and I saw that some people were getting sick. I bought some Travelan meds and we took them before every meal. None of my family got sick, and I have no idea if it was luck or taking the meds. I was a little disappointed in the lack of music during the day, and the extremely chill vibe in the evening. While the dinner time piano or sax players were talented, it was just really quiet in the evening. It would've been great to have trivia or an earlier DJ (I was too exhausted from our daytime activities to stay up until 10:30 to ever hear a DJ). I can't tell you how many times I heard a Michael Bolton song playing in the beachside bathroom, that I started to wonder if that's what they think we want to hear. It isn't! It would've been great to hear some reggae or something. Make sure you take advantage of all the water activities offered at the Windjammer! We snorkeled, tubed, paddle boarded, and kayaked every day! Everyone at the water activities booth was friendly and helpful, but we have to give an extra thanks to Mario! He took our family on a Hobie Cat sail and we had such a great visit with him. I am so grateful we had that experience on our vacation. St. Lucia is beautiful and it was our first trip to the island. We are really glad we stayed at the Windjammer and had a great time!

    A lovely beach resort

Windjammer Landing Resort St. Lucia, W.I. The staff at this place are beyond exemplary. Our stay had a few hiccups in the beginning, but smoothed out toward the end. The beds are fantastic. Views to die for. The restaurants are wonderful and the beach is sublime. Water sports folks are the best. After leaving the resort, we were contacted regarding our stay and compensated for the difficult part of our experience. Esie Alexander is to be commended for her absolute genuine concern for our experience. We were in the lowest price point villa and they treated us like royalty and made every effort to make things right with us. We recommend this resort for their honesty and integrity.
