  Wedding

  Wedding, parents of bride enjoyed the resort, no ada room which we requested. Also no first floor room husband walks with cane no rails. My daughter had a first floor room that she switched with us and was disappointed because she had a Jacuzzi suite.

  Front desk needs improvement

  Resort is beautiful, great location & amazing Food - from drinks to desserts. We love to walk so being able to venture into the sister properties and explore is a nice option. Zentropia Spa - 5 stars, great massage and the pool and outdoor area is magical. The hydrotherapy area is beautiful but unfortunately the neck massage area was broken most of our visit so we only got to enjoy it once. Only 1 of the 2 stream rooms worked and I noticed a strong moldy/dead fish smell - it’s a me issue & appears I like the aromatherapy steam rooms and not just plain steam. CHIC - a must see “WOW” show with a preset small plates menu. They may want to switch out the dessert served as it was the only negative we heard and witnessed most people tried a bite and no more. 100% recommend. BINGO by Chic = FUN, FUN, FUN !!! Restaurants - we ate all our meals on our TRS side., our favorite was French. Huge shout out to Alexis @ LaBoheme and Daniel @ Capricho. Our only NEGATIVE was the front desk staff. We checked in at 10:30 am and had booked a romance bungalow, we requested at check in a location facing the garden (1-16) as 17-20 face building 71 and 21/22 face the lobby & have a walkway meters away & we wanted privacy - these have a very visible patio & outdoor shower. We were told to come back closer to 3pm and Bryant would try for building 1-10? We returned and were told we were in 22, nothing in 1-16 was available as they all had current guests in them. “Why was this not checked when we first arrived ? “ They pulled up our wish list and indicated we did not request 1-16, or privacy? It only indicated it was our anniversary. The next unit in that area was not available for 2 days. I asked if we could take another unit and move when it became available. They offered us a mon private bungalow or a jacuzzi suite which is 3 levels lower than our unit. I inquired about a swim out as there were 2 options just below our room category - these were unavailable. The only pool suites they had were 3 levels above our category and they could not move guests into a higher level. We took the jacuzzi suite ironically facing bungalow 17-20 and moved to # 7 a couple days in and had to request the floor be swept & washed as it was sandy and dirty. A few more hick ups as we never received our wish list items, 2 room bottles or anniversary acknowledgment. And an issue with double checking our dinner reservation time with the front desk and being told it was 7:30 Only to arrive and to be told it was at 6:30. I understand mistakes happen and I’m usually go with the flow person, I looked past these issues and was having a good time, but in the last couple days we found out the couple in the next bungalows who arrived the day before us was booked in a standard room but were upgraded 5 levels to a bungalow #5 , then the same 5 level upgrade for the couple in #4??? It became a large group of couples discussing upgrades and that one of the booked pool view and ended up with corner swim up suite - 7 levels higher. We departed not feeling the greatest. We wanted to speak to management to explain that they should look at upcoming reservations and hold the better room locations possibly using the less desirable rooms for upgrade but it is near impossible as the hide in the back offices and you have to play broken telephone through reception staff & deal with a language barrier. If not for these front desk issues we would definitely return / recommend to others…. But unfortunately we left with a bad feeling. Don’t waist half my first day thinking we could get our room area request. Deny our 2 day pool room request as you cannot move guest up room levels only to find out huge upgrades are being handed out on a regular basis.

  Beautiful Location

  Amazing service. Our butlers, Magie, Fernando, and Aundrea, were outstanding. They made sure we had everything we needed day and night. The resort was beautiful. The food was okay. Our room and view were spectacular. The grounds were impeccable. Everyone was friendly.

  We loved it!

  My husband and I had a lovely stay at the TRS Yucatan. The room was excellent and larger than it looked in photos. We ordered room service breakfast and it was delicious. We ate at helios a lot and found the food great. We spent a lot of time at the "secret pool" and it was our favourite spot. It was a wonderful stay and very relaxing. We loved the japanese restaurant and the mexican resteraunt.

  Paradise in Rivera Maya

  Amazing every time and the staff are what bring us back. Always helpful, friendly and proactive to sort things out. Plenty of food choices to meet everyone's taste and glad to see an increase in staff around the resort to alleviate some of the previous problems
