  Staff, transportation, and room was good. Food and beverage was subpar. Beer selection was terrible, buffet was at best average. Pool bar “ran out of vodka.”

  It was nice, but...

  Having been to another Grand Palladium our expectations were very high. Unfortunately our expectations fell far short with the food quality and time it took from ordering our meals until they were brought to the table. We waited an hour and forty five minute in the steakhouse, and an hour 15 minutes in the Italian. My sister could not cut or chew her steak, and in the Italian I ordered chicken putanesca and received spaghetti with marinara sauce. The Mexican and Japanese were quicker, but the food was just ok. Poseidon for seafood was very good. I also need to say the Jerk hut was also very good. Drinks were very good, but some liquors were not always on the shelf. Every single person we faced was friendly and very willing to help with any request. Check in and out was a breeze even with many people arriving at the same time. We needed to change room on our 2nd night due to our bathroom being flooded from above. We heard the shower turn on, and within seconds the water was pouring out of the recessed light fixture. The the power went out and the AC shut off. Four hours later, we were in our new room. My next comments are not hotel related. The airport though small, was very well organized and we got through pretty easily (on a Friday) The ride to the resort was comfortable and the conversation with the driver was fun. The ride took 2 hours because of the small road and heavy traffic. The return to the airport took 1 hour on a Saturday.

  !st visit to Jamaica

  Overall I had a great time. the only thing that they should improve in is the alcohol.beer options. Maybe offer some signature drinks, top shelf alcohol, top shelf beer. Although I have no complaints regarding food, but they can offer a wider variety of foods, ex. beef products, turkey products for those that don't eat pork. Also, I didn't see much fruit available at the buffet.

  Big - Clean - Fun - A+ Staff - Paradise Views

  I had a lovely stay at the Grand Palladium with my family. My favourite part was that, unlike other places, it never felt like I had to "bribe" anyone to get service. My least favourite was that the pool was cold. Below are my pros and cons. PROS: - The resort was big, clean and had lots to do. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. - Mobay was the best buffet (hostess Angela Clark always recognized and welcomed us; Chef Kami-Dale Cross made delicious flan and desserts; Delroy always greeted us, and all of our servers were absolutely amazing!! Sorry I can't remember all their names!). Usually had breakfast/lunch here due to vast selection. - The gym was well equipped and clean (Richard Scotchmen was always there to help). - The entertainment team was energetic and made our stay really fun with games and shows (Orlando Shannon, DJ Skinny). - I loved that there were daily shows at the theatre and live music at the Infinity bar. - It’s really the staff that added value to the resort by engaging with us in simple ways (like groundskeeper Eric or bartender Stephanie asking about my day); it made the 7 days fly by. CONS: If these improvements are made, it would be the perfect resort! - I wish the pool was heated. Most days it was really cold, so hard to enjoy. - There aren't enough lounge chairs around the pool for all guests, so you have to go early if you want a seat. - The restaurants were either hit or miss. For example Xaymaica had the best food (oxtail, rasta pasta), but Poseidon and the steakhouse were not so great. The problem is the lack of resource – there just wasn't enough staff to cook and serve the food. Even though we had a reservation, we sometimes waited more than an hour to be seated and another hour for food. Still, the staff did their best (shout out to Troy at Poseidon). - Calling for service from the room was not helpful. It was difficult to get service over the phone, so I had to go out and find someone (e.g. requesting golf carts).

  A Day Well Spent🌟!

  Shantay,Shanquana,Kristan and Tashae made my day so exciting with such an amazing performance that got me so hyped up. The kids were so awesome, all the activities that was done by them was so magical. It made me want to bring my own kids here someday to participate in such an eventful entertainment. My time here at this resort and experiencing some of the great things done here was truly remarkable and one to remember✨.
