Bad experience
Terrible! Arrived in the evening after a very long trip, just wanted water, food sleep. No refreshment on arrival whilst we waited ages to be checked in, got to the room, ‘mini bar’ was empty. Tried room service, number 32 in the queue with a wait of about an hour after ordering. Gave in and went to the buffet, finally got a drink of water! Came back to the room yesterday afternoon for an afternoon nap, there’s construction going on at the block we’re in by the kids pool and the noise was unbearable in the room (SDS drill going all day). We weren’t told about this, no apology for the noise or info on how long it would be for (we were only on day2). Made reservations last night for the steak restaurant as per instructions via the app. Only one time available so we booked that, it was confirmed and was in our bookings in the app. Got there, all closed up, no sign, nobody to give an explanation. Off to the buffet again for what can only be described as a school dinner and where the guy who seems to be running things calls guests over like he’s calling his dog in the park……. Back to the room….. mini bar not restocked, guess we just wait until morning for a glass of water! Not looking forward to the rest of the stay…… pay that bit extra folks and stay at the moon palace or royalton….. the standards here are very low! Shocked that Virgin put their name to it!

10/10 experience, see for yourself
Absolutely great experience, all staff were polite, rooms were clean, safe, staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone has the best stay. Honestly wouldn't go to another resort in Jamaica. See you guys again soon, BIG UP !

Great resort with great food
We stayed at grand palladium in Nov'24. The resort has lots of great food options, the rooms were clean and satisfactory, and the bars were amazing. The massage was great but the spa services can use some cleanliness. A lot of things were not publicized anywhere. The kids club was very engaging and fun for the kids, but the events were not publicized so we couldn't really take advantage of it. The beach near poseidon is beautiful with a lot of water activities, but it was also not publicized and so we stumbled on it on the last day. Overall, great experience, but you need to work to discover everything the resort has to offer.

Pleasant Surprise
After reading many negative reviews, I was concerned about my stay. However, when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing and very accommodating. Our garden view room was recently renovated and perfect. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to use the whirlpool tub. The property is huge, but it never feels crowded. The pool is huge and amazing except for the step-down (they need more stairs), and the swim-up bar didn't disappoint. The only downsides for me were - the food was only adequate (they need to replenish sooner); I didn't like that I had to refer to an app to see the activities and music schedules (I'm old school, lol).

Service is a hit & miss
Some staff are very very friendly but most are not. You're lucky if you get the friendly staff. The resort itself is very nice and big enough for the whole family to not get bored.
