Best hotel I've ever stayed
We were greeted warmly by the staff upon check in and were served bottled water as a welcome drink. They explained the layout and we were a bit confused to hear the beach was on level 2 but was pleasantly surprised when we eventually checked it out. The ambience was pleasant and peaceful, at no point did it feel too crowded. The beach, although it is man made was scenic and beautiful and never too crowded which made it better than Mambo beach in my opinion. The service, the food, the facilities and the little touches like providing bedroom slippers and robes made this stay exceptional. Chantal, a waitress in the restaurant was so peppy and friendly, hard not to love. All the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. I inplore everyone that stays here to try the buffet, especially lunch and dinner, it was phenomenal and I am still dreaming about their desserts. The blue Curaçao cake and the tiramisu were my favorites. My only regret was not eating at the restaurant more frequently. I wish they had another full restaurant in the hotel and had more vegetarian options but there are restaurants right outside the hotel, albeit a bit more expensive. I hope to return to this hotel soon, it had everything and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely beach hotel in a great, central location
I travelled with my wife and our daughter’s family including our grandchildren aged 6 and 3. All of us had a great time. The hotel has a prime location on a private man made beach in the center of Willemstad next to the Riffort. The Riffort is a nearly 200 year old fort on the ocean that houses a number of restaurants. The service levels at the hotel were high and the staff are generally nice and responsive. The beach is a tidal salt water pool with a sort of infinity wall next to the ocean. Hotel was walking distance to every major site in Willemstad, including the Punda and Otrabanda areas. Wallking around in those areas, night or day is safe. On the last night the Food and Beverages Manager laid on a special dinner for our whole family ( who had a number of birthdays in the week we were there) on the beach. The food and service (by Tasha and her supervisor, Ivory) was spectacular. The ambience and decor for the dinner was great. The hotel also offers free parking. There is also great clothes shopping in the hotel next to the mall. Curacao is a great place to visit. Everybody speaks, English, Dutch, Papiamento and Spanish. It’s a safe, tourist friendly place where you can drink the water. Willemstad has such atmosphere. But there is also diving, snorkeling, a dolphin experience, and an ostrich farm, among other things, on the island.

Wanted a quiet vacation, and got it.
We really enjoyed our stay. We wanted a quiet relaxing time and that's what we got. We had a noise issue the first night, but the management took care of the situation and made it right. They even offered to move us, but we enjoyed were we were. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice, it was up to date with an ocen view. Hotel itself was well maintained and clean. Nice little casino for those that enjoy that stuff. Located right beside the Rif Fort and,Punda there were a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The floating bridge is a 5 minute walk. The "beach" was great. This was the first time on a vacation where you didn't have to go down at 6 to get a chair, we were able to get a pallapa at virtually anytime. We'll done !!!!!!! It's hot, but always a 30km wind to keep you cool. The cruise ships dock nearby, and we enjoyed people watching and seeing the various ships Overall great time. Shout out to Carlton.

Day trip off of the cruise ship.
Booked in as day guests on the day. The location of the hotel complex is situated close to the cruise port. When we arrived at the reception we were advised there was no room. After some discussion we were guided to the beach / pool location. We were offered sun beds in various locations. The day pass costs $30 US dollars per person of which $15 is a credit toward food or drink. The atmosphere was quiet which was okay. Changing facilities are available.

A must stay in Willemstad!
Arrived for the last few days for Karnival and was impressed with the security around upon arrival. Greeted warmly by the front door staff who quickly arranged for our bags to be delivered to our room and assisted with parking. Used to this when paying for valet parking, but rarely when there is free parking on premises. Check in was effortless and received an upgraded view. All lobby staff were helpful and friendly and the lobby itself was quite inviting. Had an ocean view room and it was beautiful. An earring was misplaced to we had to move stuff around to find it and discovered the floors/room was exceptionally clean! Many amenities and outstanding staff make this place a winner!
