A Good Time Was Had By All!

I have been to Atlantis five times and enjoyed myself immensely. I was with family this time. My grandson had a wonderful time. Prices have increased and was disappointed that the meal plan option was removed. Having the meal plan actually encourages more spending elsewhere and staying on the resort grounds!

    Great, but needs work

Very expensive and the automatic gratuity (service charge) is annoying, especially when there is space to add a tip on top of a tip at the bottom of the invoice. Not all staff are warm and welcoming, some are cold and look as though they hate their jobs. Our room was beautiful, but was damp and musty - the bathroom fans did not work. It's like our room had poor air circulation. This place needs some work, however, we did have a good time.

    Just amazing

Spent 3 nights at the Royal; can’t fault it. Hotel provides water bottles and water filling stations are on every floor and outside. Great food and drinks choices and not overpriced (unlike Margaritaville where we are now and I will write a separate review about that). At Atlantis we had a room overlooking sea turtles and sharks; we loved it. The beach there is fantastic- you can walk for miles and there are beaches with no one in sight. Many pools to choose from - for kids and also adults only. Staff was also lovely. Great entertainment choices. Great sophisticated clientele too, everyone polite and no one puts towels down at 5am. I will be back.

    Family really enjoyed Atlantis.

The kids really enjoyed Atlantis. We used Marriott points to stay at the Royal. It's a large property. It's safe and the kids were able to roam around without mom worrying. That makes dad happy :) Our one complaint is they need to have lower cost food options for the kids but overall, a great experience.

The worst of Cancun and Vegas combined!

The worst of Cancun and Vegas combined! The facilities is outdated, there is noise everywhere all the time and it all smell like an old casino! Not to mention that everything is so expensive: $10 for a bottle of water, $18 for a chocolat bar… The problem is also that you are stuck on the site since the taxi drivers are trying to screw you each time you try to escape… And where can you escape since Nassau is as bad as the Atlantis? Really to avoid!
