An Absolute Dream !
We arrived at Dreams Dominicus La Romana on the 5th December. After a few days of being in 3 different wrong rooms, we finally decided to settle on the last one and enjoy our holiday. This was all dealt with by the TUI Rep Sandra and she was amazing. Now onto the AMAZING holiday we then had. Dreams Dominicus La Romana is an absolutely beautiful Resort. It is immaculate. We stayed Preferred Club which gave us access to a different section of the beach. Nelson the concierge on the beach was just lovely. We had explained to him a few Health issues that i had and requests while i was on the Beach. He was respectful very caring, helpful and always polite and professional. Due to staff change over we also met Ronelkie and found that Nelson had told him all about us and our needs at the beach. He also made sure we were well cared for. The Beach Security Guard was also there every day and was very polite and helpful too. We booked to use the Cabana Bed twice through our stay and we enjoyed a fruit platter. We ate breakfast at the Preferred Club Beach Restaurant every day bar 2. Luisa, Perla, Welyn, Luis and Felix made us extremely welcome every single time. Felix knowing our coffee order and exactly how we took it. We found him to be extremely hard working. Breakfast was beautiful, hot and well cooked and a great range to choose from the restaurant was spotless. We also ate Dinner here on 4 occasions and loved sitting on the Beach. Pizza at Barefoot Grill at lunch was something we also never missed. We organised for my partner to do a Scuba Dive with the help of Jene. He was fab and explained everything the day before. On the day the dive instructor was Dan and again we found him fun, friendly and very professional. We ate at all Al la Carte Restaurant's and had no problem with getting a table. Himatsu was our favourite. The Lobby Bar and Baracuda Bar were great for chilling after dinner and the service was impeccable. Lively, friendly and upbeat. The nightly Saxophone, and piano player was a nice touch, along with the singer , who really had people up dancing. We watched the entertainment of an evening Water and Fire being my favourite along with the Circus Show and although we didn't really get involved in the entertainment in the day we could see what was going on and thought it was great fun. We spoke to Gasolina and Osito and on a number of times through our time at the resort and they were always happy and playful. We visited the Coffee Shop every afternoon for Coffee and Cakes and wow what a hard choice that was. Again, spotlessly clean and happy, friendly staff members. Our Butler was Melania, we only met her on our third day.(Room Level mix up) She was so so lovely and really wanted to do anything she could to help make our stay enjoyable. however she didn't have to try hard as we already had fallen in love with the place. She sent my partner daily updates with information about the daily events at the resort, and she frequently came to the beach to find us to see we were all good. Even though our stay didn't start the best we will definitely be back To Dreams Dominicus La Romana this year and really have missed the place since we have been home. Every single member staff we met with was so dedicated and hard working. The cleaning team really keep on top of everything and the public bathrooms, when i visited, were always clean and tidy. See you soon Dreams Dominicus La Romana

One of the best all inclusive experiences
Had a fantastic experience at Dream Dominicus La Romana. Food was great, beach was excellent, spa was super clean, fitness center was well equipped and the water rental equipment was readily available within the 24 hr reservation window.

Best beach, but food not so good
We just returned from our stay yesterday. In my opinion, this hotel is more of a 4-star property. The best part of the resort is the beach, the water is absolutely crystal clear and beautiful. We stayed in a Preferred Club Family Suite, and our butler Zoraida was amazing. She was very professional, kind, and attentive, checking in with us a couple of times a day to make sure we had everything we needed. We also booked a Bali bed for the entire week, which I highly recommend. It gives you the best spot on the beach and eliminates the stress of waking up early to secure chairs (we were told by both guests and staff that some people place their belongings as early as 6 a.m.). The highlight of the beach experience (besides the water) was our waiter, Nelson. He truly deserves special recognition. Nelson took exceptional care of us, our ice bucket and drinks were always refilled without us even having to ask. He is awesome and incredibly hardworking. The hotel itself is beautiful but definitely showing its age and could use some updates. Unfortunately, the worst part of our stay was the food. I am not a picky eater, yet I had a very difficult time eating, and my entire family ended up with food poisoning, which was awful and very disappointing. Overall we had a great vacation.

Beautiful beach experience w/ family
Food was mediocre, our bathroom had a sewer smell, and too many people aggressively selling you something as you walk the resort. The entertainment was outdated, but water and fire shows were cool. Jazmin was great informing us about activities and how to best spend our time. The customer service is above and beyond.
