  Comfortable and fun

  Very nice and cozy resort. Food was very good and staff very friendly. Entertainment staff especially Lupita were all great. All staff very accommodating and friendly. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Beach was clean and well attended to.

  Wonderful place

  We arrived on the 1st January 2025 at around 7.30pm and we booked in at the main reception, which is the smaller one of the two. we were shown to our room (85104) ground floor which was about 50 yards or so from the reception, we didn't know at the time but it was the perfect spot. The room was very clean, with a huge bed and had everything you needed. The pool area from this room is a 10/15 second walk and the pool close to this room was the quiet end so perfect. The middle pool has the swim up bar where all the activates take place and the great foam pool party if you would like things a bit more busier. The buffet restaurant is a 2-3 minutes past the pools from this room and this restaurant was great, plenty of choice, the food was excellent and the staff were first class, polite and very helpful. The omelettes made fresh for you in the morning were very good. There were some 10+ other restaurant that can be used and you need to book them via the app, we used 5-6 of them and all very good with the food first class. The beach was a 10 minutes walk or so from our room but you can use the on site buggies who will take you down there as well, beach was again lovely although sea was a little rough as its Atlantic side. The all-inclusive is still available at the beach. The sports bar is a great place for an early evening drink before Dinner and you can also eat here as part of the all-inclusive, the only thing i would say is maybe show some UK sport instead of all American sports.

  no alcohol in my room except for beer, no room service after 11pm. called room service they told me to walk to AmBAR.. They are not big on customer service. Food was ok nothing good. Huge resort so be prepared to walk. Aqua is out dated but good option to access the other resorts

  Excellent vacation at Bahia Principe Aquamarine

  We found the Bahia Principe Aquamarine staff welcoming, efficient and friendly, and most seemed genuinely happy, suggesting decent management. We enjoyed the cozy feeling of the resort, considering it is part of an enormous complex. Food at each al a carte we tried was excellent and the buffet always had plenty of options. The coffee /tea station in the lobby was a delightful bonus, as was the regularly restocked mini bar in the room. Quality linens and mattress provided a good sleep, as did the reliable A/C. The spectacular beach is a 7 minute walk or you can take the tram. All in all we highly recommend BP Aquamarine, maybe next time we’ll try the Ambar due to its proximity to the beach.

  Aquamarine

  I recently stayed at the Aquamarine Hotel (Adults Only) and had a mixed experience. The pool and beach areas were absolutely lovely and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was warm, welcoming, and consistently friendly, which made the stay more pleasant. However, the accommodations left much to be desired. The rooms felt outdated, with old and poorly maintained showers and sinks. The green countertops around the sinks had noticeable water stains, and overall cleanliness did not meet expectations. It’s clear the rooms are in need of significant updates to align with the quality of the rest of the property. While I enjoyed the amenities and the hospitality, improvements to the rooms would greatly enhance the overall experience.
