Jan 12, 2025Staff help make the holiday so much better!
Nice resort, food ok great snack bar by the pool where they make pizzas and staff are so accommodating. Resort wildlife is amazing and so much fun they are so entertaining! Downside is I would not recommend booking when there's a conference on as areas of the resort are closed for eg whole pool areas which impacts on the guests who have paid good money to use all the facilities not sure if I would give it 5 stars! The resort needs another bar on an evening as the one gets so busy when entertainment is on. Huge appreciation to Raul our barman on the pool/beach who did a fantastic job of making our stay so pleasurable, he works hard and provides a great service, nothing is a problem!

Don't go for the food....
The resort is nice but the food was mediocre. The staff was slow and we had to keep asking over and over to get drinks or condiments. We had a great time with our college kids despite the poor service. We were there for a week. The ride to back to the airport is really rough. We will not be back.

Melany at concierge was outstanding & very helpful/professional resolving our delayed baggage issue. Kenneth pool concierge checked in daily to see if he could help in any way & found us chairs at pool. Kattia server at preferred lounge has very bubbly personality & was a joy to chat with. She remembered our nightly drinks as soon as she seen us

Nice place not ready for prime time
Getting to resort took 2 hours. Food mostly just okay like most all you can eat places. Beer selection mostly local. Staff very friendly. Pool side hard to find chairs. Pool area very well decorated with scrubs and flower, very nice. Leaving the resort on 2 lane not well maintained road made side trips very slow and uncomfortable.

Excellent dining experience with Paola at El Patio restaurant
We had dinner at El Patio and our waitress was Paola. Paola was an excellent server with a beautiful smile and extremely attentive. She made the dining experience excellent. If you go to this restaurant ask for Paola for a 10star experience, plus the food was incredible.
