Mold infested place with horrible housekeeping staff and management
Staying at Breezes for let’s say about two weeks. Distasteful and most Disgusting experience I ever had. To be fair the entertainment and kitchen staff was amazing. The Housekeeping staff is the most horrible staff that me and my husband ever met. Housekeeping management is horrible not to mention for the whole duration of our stay they never changed our sheets or pillowcases. Bathroom full of mold and sheets are soak with bleach to try take out a stain. Mr. Davis and Ms. Burrows are the worst management to ever run housekeeping. Towels never on time and place is run down and outdated. Dust and cobwebs live in the place to the point they paint over dust and dirt.

Great time!
The employees at Breezes Nassau are amazing! From the front desk to the waitstaff and the entertainment staff, they were fantastic. Everyone was friendly, happy and helpful. Jerrilee, our pool bar bartender is awesome! Manny helped with our luggage while we waited for our room. Jayden checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. The food at Eden, the buffet and the grill at the pool was all good. We enjoyed our time at Breezes. The comments about the age of the resort are accurate. It could use some updates. But it is very clean, the views are beautiful and I would go back.

Two nights are enough
This hotel is tired and needs a total refit. For a couple of days it’s ok but no longer than that. The food is school dinner standard and the drinks unless you are in the piano bar are second rate. The staff looking after guests work very hard especially Merrilyn who works in the Italian Asian and Garden of Eden restaurants and G the butler. The entertainment team try but are amateurish Mary has a problem with white people and doesn’t give them their prize if they win, I have first hand knowledge of this, she likes the sound of her own voice and plays up to the lifeguard. There is a terrible smell of damp on the first floor inthe piano bar and hallway. I could go on late towels late duvet covers, smoking vaping and children running around even though it’s adult only. Should have taken notice of the reviews

DONT STAY HERE!
Don’t waste your money! The beach and pool were nice but that was about it. The hot tub was dirty with cloudy water every day. The food at all inside locations was over cooked, tasteless and probably leftover. Never any fresh seafood, shrimp, etc… just mushy fish covered in ? sauce. The most disgusting and unappealing food I’ve ever had at any restaurant, much less an all-inclusive resort! The only thing fresh might have been the lettuce on salad bar. Even breakfast was a letdown! The burgers at the outside grill were the only thing worth eating. Staff inside were rude and obviously hate their job. Towel lady was hateful and demanded only one towel per guest…really? Long line for drinks..and long walks too! Forget anyone serving you anything on the beach! Or offering a table or umbrella for you! This place is terrible! GO ANYWHERE ELSE, you will wish you did!!

Never again
We stayed here for five nights on our honeymoon in 2001 and had the greatest experience. All accommodations were modern and state-of-the-art for the time. While checking in, we were greeted with a warm smile and stiff Bahama Mama. Staff reassured us we would be indulged and there was no request they couldn't fulfill. The rooms were clean and well-maintained with comfortable beds and soft linens. The bathroom was stocked with quality toiletries, with the best beach view and quiet atmosphere. Everywhere you turned, a pleasant, smiling staff member was making sure you were happy. The beach furniture was new and comfortable and again, staff were taking our requests without hesitation or limitations. Staff were constantly picking up the incidental trash left on the beach. Now to the food...Your choices were restaurant dining, the outdoor grill, or the primary buffet. We never made it to the restaurants. This was no geriatric cafeteria style of preparation. Examples were freshly grilled right before you mahi-mahi that was swimming just hours before. Fried alligator and grilled lamb that wasn't the least bit gamey. Nothing (including sides) was bland or overcooked. With respect to quality, breakfast paralleled the dinner menu in every way and the coffee was better than Starbucks. EVERYTHING from taste to texture was either the finest quality food from a can or freshly prepared with expertise. The beach/poolside grill was as good if not better than that 4th of July cookout we all enjoyed. After a long dose of life, we returned for a long weekend to the place we remembered so well. What a mistake this was. The greeting was lukewarm at best, absent the adult beverage. Our room was not ready and the suggestion was to enjoy a meal at the outdoor grill. We indulged and spoiler alert, this was the highlight of the trip. The burgers, dogs, chicken, and conch fritters were fantastic and the staff were the best. 24 years ago there was a fountain drink station positioned at the grill that was made for convenience. You now must walk about 30 yards to the bar for all beverages. We never made it to the restaurants this time from the long lines and cannot comment. The dinner and breakfast buffet options were a disaster. All proteins were overcooked and bland. Forget a fresh seafood option and the seafood options were unidentifiable and disgusting. My wife can't eat pasta and opted for the freshly sauteed shrimp without the pasta. Had to explain this for a few minutes to the cook and he finally understood what she was asking. When I saw what he put in the bowl I thought it was a sick joke. It was half a cup of vegetable oil, a few onions, and THREE frozen baby shrimp, yes three. Even by baby shrimp standards, these shrimp were small. All three would fit in a tablespoon. One night, the "made to order grill" offered NY strip. The portions were the size of a playing card and about as thick. I asked if I could have one medium rare and the response was the cook pointing to a tray of steaks previously cooked and she said these are the ones I just pulled off the grill and I was ignored. A few seconds later she served me one she just put on the grill and it was raw and unedible. I tried a few that were already cooked that was resting in a pan, that was positioned on the grill and they were disgusting. It was possibly a Steak-Umm from the 80's that was cooked in a gallon of vegetable oil. We chose to fill up on the salad bar items that I could purchase at my local Walmart. And yes, the salad bar items were about as tasty as the hot food items...bland and boring. Desserts? Yes, bland and tasteless no matter how they were labeled they all tasted the same. I recall one labeled "Breast" cake or something like that, but the word "Breast" was in the title. I asked an employee what "Breast" whatever was and tasted like and all she would do was repeat back the words on the title card and could not describe anything further. Breakfast was also a disaster...how can you screw up breakfast??? Everything looked and tasted old, dry, and as if it was leftover from the day before. The bacon was a tray of wadded-up fat and I saw an employee barehand the pile at the back to the front. I was done with bacon. Sausage links were jerky at best. Grits were in the form of a solid and could be sliced. Steamed tuna for breakfast? They managed to screw up the fresh flip waffles. First, a lady was hovering over you making sure you sprayed the iron with an iron fist. The cups of batter were underfilled and when I went for another cup to make a full waffle, grill-lube lady said no bueno. The waffle was far underportioned, chewy, and in unison with everything else, tasteless. Now to the fresh eggs that brings up the topic of the egg situation. I guess it's just me but there was no pan of the already prepared scrambled eggs, only hot-boiled eggs. If you wanted made-to-order eggs, Sharon was the egg cook for our stay. The nicest thing I could say about Sharon is that's she's unhappy. I have other descriptors I'll keep to myself. There was no way to determine where the line started and believe me, she reminded you where the line begins with feeling. She'd point the spatula at you and you told her what you wanted and then acted like it was asking for her first-born. She did this with everyone. Never made eye contact or acknowledged anyone, so you weren't sure if you understood your order. Again, cooked in an equal ratio of vegetable oil and you received either an overcooked or undercooked pile of greasy egg slop. Coffee was burned and no half-and-half was offered. Airplane coffee was much better. No complaints whatsoever about the outdoor grill...everything was fantastic. But...should I travel to the Bahamas for a burger? Now the rooms...Nothing had changed since my last stay. Same old mattress and bedframe that was wobbly, the same art on the walls, the same plumbing fixtures that were worn and pitted. Very uncomfortable bed. We even had a years-old phone book in the room. We quit using the elevator as the stairs were much faster. Entertainment...staff was fun and friendly. We played trivia games and karaoke, however, this is available at any local pub. The pool tables were falling apart and ping-pong tables sagging and bubbling. The equipment in the fitness center? Yep, same as from 2001 except rusted and mostly not operational. Now are you asking yourself why a manager was not contacted during your stay? Well, I can also answer that...I could not find one, nor could any employee...just a shoulder shrug.
