60 isn’t so bad
Great way to celebrate turning 60! All inclusive was the way to go! The staff were amazing! Facilities were nice. Pools fabulous. Views amazing! Food and drinks great! Plenty of things to do if you want adventure. We enjoyed relaxing in and by the pool. Met great people from all over. Will be back!

Was fantastic
My experience at the Bahia Principe was very good. Our first contact was with Khrist Forrester (bell man). He made sure we our luggage was delivered and also helped us to settle in comfortable in our room. We were grateful for that as we were retirees. We found the staff very polite and helpful for most part. We ate mostly in the Jazmin Buffet restaurant as we found they had a wide variety of dishes. The supervisor in this restaurant made sure we were comfortable on every visit. The rooms were clean and refreshment restocked every day. We will surely stay at this hotel again.

My first bad review ever, awful place to go too
Bad bed Bad customer service -They wake you up at 630am/730am for cleaning rooms, plus phone call at 830am. Loud everywhere/ nosey carts Shower head don't work Not enough outlets/ bad locations -You can hear music everywhere/ never experience this in any hotel No ice machines/ you got to call for it. They up charge everything/ very expensive -No decaffeinated coffee/ at buffet its insta coffee and it's horrible. Poor food in alot of their restaurants Burgers for room service awful -Feb 11th TV went out at 825pm/ multiple times through out our stay. Not the right size slippers guy big feet Fan loud needs oil -Maids touching thermometer everytime they clean our room, even though we like it where we put it. Safe never worked When I call about the t.v being out, the 2 times I called they turned it back on (crazy) -Reservations for dinner they hold it only for 5 mins. Maki restaurants/ Poor service and had no dragon roll, plus not the best food(awful) -Lights in hotel room are out of wack, you don't know what's where. -They play music past 10pm, you can hear everything in your hotel room.

Would NEVER return to Bahia Luxury (adults only)
I will start with the good for the Bahia luxury Runaway Bay because there was not much to talk about in this category. When we arrived to check in my brand new Vuori puffer vest was taken, and the staff made clear that they really did not care. I never got it back btw after speaking with security several times. We upgraded our room to a luxury ocean view King, and it was beautiful room with breathtaking views. We met two amazing staff members while we were there. They were such optimistic and warm people, but as a whole, our experience with the staff at the Bahia luxury adults only was more of a “could care less whether you have a good time or not vibe”. We did find out that we should buy insulated cups so that we could get something larger than a shot glass drink, and the food was in a word “HORRIBLE”. It as bland, and poorly prepared, I did not have a good meal over five nights. I would say the biggest upset was the fact that we had very few dinner options available to us on the adult side, they gave the good reservations to families that had kids and so we did not in fI’ve nights get an opportunity to eat at any of the good restaurants. All in all I would never go back to Bahia luxury ever again, it had amazing weather and gorgeous view. The property was clean, but as a whole, the staff were unfriendly the food was terrible, and the overall experience was less than desired. This was an important trip for my girlfriend and I, we both turn 50 this year. Unfortunately, it was a lousy vacation but we made it work as best we could. Enjoyed our view, the pool, warm sunny weather and each other!

Fun times at Bahia Luxury
We had a great time at this adult only all inclusive. We traveled as a couple, with friends. This is not the best all inclusive we have ever been to, but your vacation is what you make it! And the price really does reflect the few upgrades needed. The mattresses are hard spring and the bathrooms are need of a refresh. Check-in was easy, we used a private service to pick us up at the airport, instead of waiting, so we were the only ones checking in. We were on the 4th floor, at the far side of the resort, we had a partial ocean view and saw where the employees parked in a field beside the resort. We never had an issue with the elevators, but heard a few people did. The a la cartes were amazing. You can book them on the app one week before you get there, so be persistent, it will work!! The buffets were great and always had good choices. We used the buffets from the Grand and Luxury. The bartenders and servers were always good to us. We tip $1 US per round, and it is always appreciated by the hard working staff. The daily entertainment staff were one of the the highlights of our vacation. These hard working young adults were always 'on' and interacted respectfully. There are multiple small beaches at the Luxury side, but the beach at the Grand side was the largest and most used. Evening entertainment in the theater was not all that, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Lobby Bar entertainment every night. PS - don't forget your white outfits for the Saturday night beach white party.
