Mar 23, 2025Never made it past check in
We arrived for a week - 2 adults and 2 young children - with a confirmed email reservation in hand for a two bedroom suite. We checked in, went to our room, and it had one bedroom Back to reception who said our reservation was just for a one bedroom in their system, and the $7000 we paid was for an all-inclusive one bedroom unit. Didn’t care that we had a confirmation stating two bedrooms at $7000. Luckily we were able to find a two bedroom suite close by at another resort. We told reception to refund our payment and we were leaving. Suddenly the one bedroom was now available for only $3500!! Still wouldn’t work plus we now had no interest in staying at this place. Finally was able to find an employee who looked at our email confirmation and did a refund. We asked for receipts for the original charge and reversal and they didn’t understand why we needed receipts. Maybe because Garza Blanca can’t be trusted? Beware of the bait and switch at this place.

The entire pool staff is wonderful! A special thanks to Ivan Solis for always making sure we were set with food and drinks! Ron and Salvador went out of there way to make sure we were happy with the perfect lounge chairs and plenty of towels. The bar staff Aqua Blues was terrific. We would have a wonderful Espresso Martini before heading off to dinner.

Big shoutout to Gio and Arturo (Bocados Breakfast) for taking care of us during our March 2025 trip. Their service and attention was great. We went for breakfast there every morning because the food was great and the service even better. Would definitively go back. Carlos & Diana.

Bocado Restaurant
Great food at the steak house( Bocados). Lobster tail really great! Drinks great pineapple storm with tequila amazing drinks. The view in the patio is amazing. Recommend doing dinner at 6pm yo watch the sunset. Great service by Martin, Esteban and Ricardo

Wonderful family vacation
We had a great Spring Break trip with our kids (12, 10, and 6 years old). This was our first time both in PV and at a Garza Blanca property. We would absolutely return again. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained as represented in the pictures. Here are the things that stood out for us: -The food is excellent and exceeded our expectations at every meal. We had dinners at Blanca Blue, Bocados, Hiroshi and Dao. All incredible. If you like Chinese, you must eat at Dao. We were very happy that they asked about dietary restrictions before every meal. -Spectacular views- from everywhere on the property. It was magical to see whales in the bay around sunset as we had our last dinner at Bocados. We also had amazing views of the ocean and the jungle from our room. -The two bedroom suite is a perfect set up for families. The room was beautifully decorated and everything seemed recently updated and modern. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable and everyone slept very well. The steam shower in the master was a delight. -The staff is so attentive and friendly. They truly aim to please. Special thanks to Elaine, the Captain at Blanca Blue, who saw that our gluten free daughter had crepes every day we were there for breakfast. Rigoberto took wonderful care of us for drinks and lunch at both pools. There were a couple of things that were less than stellar in our experience: -Restaurant reservations are hard to get for prime times. We were surprised that, after being squeezed in at Bocados at 6:30, the restaurant wasn’t totally full as we were told. -We had an early morning excursion and had to leave the resort before 7am. Because no restaurants were open and room service was not available, there was nothing for our kids to have for breakfast. All of this said, we had a wonderful experience and we would love to return.
