A slice of heaven!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zoëtry Agua. Johan our personal butler is amazing, he made our trip so wonderful, organized special touches for my birthday. The staff are amazing, always greeting us and asking if we need anything, the resort clean and beautiful! I had a couple of massages at the spa which was awesome and was able to do a horseback ride on the beach. The food and drinks were excellent and the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of the resort were exactly what my mom and I were looking for. Our room was always so clean and restocked every day and as it is a small resort there wasn’t a huge amount of walking ( which my retired mom appreciated as she has some mobility issues) Our balcony off the room was huge with a table and chairs and two comfy chairs. The beach was amazing as were the pools. I highly recommend Zoetry Agua if what you’re looking for is quiet, attention to detail and relaxing. We will definitely be returning❤️

Incredible Vacation - Will be back soon!
Excellent trip back to Zoetry Agua. The resort has doubled in size since our last visit and we were a bit worried about it being too busy and not as relaxing. However, it was completely fine and a nice relaxing vacation. The service is amazing in all the restaurants and bars. The staff was genuinely kind and took the time to make us feel at home. The bartender at the lobby bar, Joe, really made us feel at home and has a huge personality. We stayed in a beach front room with a plunge pool. The views were awesome and the room itself was extremely nice. Very large room with plenty of room. The bathroom and amenities were great. We dined at all the restaurants and always found something we enjoyed. I typically eat nothing but seafood and there were plenty of different menus that had just what I wanted. We had breakfast in our room a couple of times (room service) and it was always hot, fresh, and very good. We never had a bad meal at any of the restaurants. Every day for lunch, they had a small buffet lunch set up by under a tree by the swim up bar. It is good food and a great way to catch something quick to eat. At the pool bar, there was a person making home made pizzas - we tried a couple of them during the week and they were very good. The beach area is beautiful - the water is so blue and clean. There was a little seaweed each morning, but the staff had it all raked and cleaned up each day. Only change I would like to see is to see people stop putting towels on chairs around the pool early in the morning and not coming back until after lunch! We always found a chair somewhere to enjoy the sun, but there just is not a lot around the two pools. We were able to find one every now and then on the swim up pools. I've read a lot of reviews about the mosquitos and no-see-ums being bothersome. We did experience quite a few mosquitoes in the lobby only when we checked in and one night at the bar. No problem with any bugs on the beach. As for all the reviews mentioning children at the resort, yes they are allowed but we didn't have any issues with them. We have stayed at Zoetry five different times, and we saw the most kids at this stay - probably because we were at the end of spring break. They were all quiet and respectful and did not bother us at all.

Outstanding Anniversary Trip
This is a beautifully lush boutique type resort with only 92 suites. When we arrived, our check in was smooth & uneventful. Our butler, Johan was very pleasant and offered to set up anything we wanted to do during our stay. Concierge Juan Carlos had luggage delivered to room within minutes. He also set up a morning coffee delivery the next day. Our room was a second floor Junior Suite overlooking the lazy river pool area & Piragua restaurant. Foliage at the resort is very lush and the hibiscus was in bloom. Bed was extremely comfortable. We ordered a couple extra pillows and they were promptly delivered. Snacks, booze, wine & fruit were all in the room. Mini Snickers & Trail Mix by the bar. Very bougie! The view from our balcony was beautiful and at night when everything is lit up, it’s stunning. Balcony was the largest we’ve had at a resort with a nice table & chairs and sofa. They also delivered chocolate covered strawberries & champagne to our room for our anniversary. It was a very nice touch. All services provided at the resort are at Preferred Level for everyone. Also, they’ll do up to 3 pieces of laundry at no extra cost for you during your stay if needed. Dinner menus are rotated each night. First night was cocktails at the lobby bar and then a Mediterranean dinner at Olena. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Went back to the Lobby Bar for a nightcap and a piano player played relaxing music. Menus at each restaurant are rotated so you always have a new option. Lunchtime pizza’s & outdoor buffet proved to keep everyone happy. We did not go to Indigo for lunch during this visit but their breakfast was always delicious. Best meal was at Amaya. I recommend the Grilled Salmon. It normally comes with a sautéed potato but I asked for grilled veggies and they were happy to honor my request. Honorable mentions - Johan our Butler, best service hands down. Made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay first class. Our last night he had our room decorated with rose petals for our anniversary and had chocolate covered strawberries & champagne waiting for us. Daniel by the Pool Bar provided excellent service, even got us lounge chairs from the other end of the resort to set up by the pool. Louis- Amaya & Afternoon Buffet, Henry - Indigo & Amaya, Angel - Indigo, Gabriel - Canoa lobby bar, Joel - Caicu Swim Up Bar and Junior helped with chairs by the lazy river on our last day along with some great conversation. There were a few negatives to mention but we didn’t let it upset our vacation - cold water in shower which was resolved the next day, resort does need a refresh but heard that will be starting in June of this year, walkway bridges & stairs to the rooms are rickety & need replacing. The access to enter the pools are few and far between so it made it hard to get in & out of the water. Bottom line - would we return? Absolutely! This trip was amazing!! 🙂

This was my first vacation in almost 10 years. I went for my 55th birthday and what an incredibly peaceful experience. It was everything I needed. The tranquility was incredible!!! Our concierge and all the staff was beyond my wildest dreams. I wish I could’ve stayed longer…I’ll definitely be back!!!

9.5/10 excellente
Overall very good resort. Incredibly private and calm. Never did we have an issue getting a pool or beach chair. service was overall very good. Only criticism is the food was a bit disappointing. What lacked in food was made up for in other way
