Beautiful resort and awesome staff. I was so lucky to be helped by Carlos Miranda in the Preferred Club. I had some special travel circumstances and he took great care of me, as did his partner Adriana Ramirez. I will stay at this resort again!

Best vacation we have been on this year and we plan to visit Secrets soon.
The property and rooms were extremely clean. The restaurants were exceptionally nice and the food was excellent. The restaurant staff were very friendly and very polite and took care of us from the time we arrived. Top notch service from the entire staff.

Unplug and relax
We just got back Secrets Vallarta Bay. First let me say what a Great Resort property. Very accessible to the local area, Pools and beach where great. Butler service was provided by Jose B. His service was above me beyond. With recommendations , reservations and information. Jose should teach customer service. He anticipates the needs of the guest. He wa awesome and made the trip the best. Also like to mention Mario at the Pool bar and Pablo at check in and check out. Great service all around

Service is important
The service was absolutely A+… Carlos and Jose were attentive as our Butlers. We will definitely be returning to this resort and they are a big part of the reason!!!!!! The servers in all the restaurants were great also. The servers in the buffet were nice as can be!!!

Third times a charm at Secrets PV
Our third stay at Secrets : the highlight is the local talent entertaining in the lobby bar with lots of the bands appealing enough to get the crowd dancing. There are also shows in the amphitheater, but I think those are better suited for the dreams and families; we much prefer our Secrets love bar entertainment. We chose Preferred again; we like the lower elevation, being close to the pools and a dedicated bar and buffet area. Also, we had our same butler again, Carlos Miranda and colleague Jose Becerra, to take care of any help needed. We like Secrets because there are no dinner reservations required, you can get into most of them with a short wait or if you time it right, no wait at all. Food quality is excellent with variety, depending on the theme of the restaurant; we recognize the servers and many of them have been there for a decade or longer and are true professional hospitality staff. Lots going on at the pool and beach area such as water polo, yoga, games, Spanish lessons. Lots of loungers available so you don’t need to go down in the morning unless you have a very specific location you like.. There is a decent size gym in an L shape with sufficient equipment for about a dozen people. It’s very clean and watched over by a staff member. Tennis available we didn’t play this year as it’s just too hot! You can walk to the Malecon, but it’s a bit far, we went down to the Main road in front of the hotel and jumped on the city bus and for 10 pesos we were at the old market. Some locals helped us pick the right bus but you can’t really go wrong is they’re mostly heading that direction.
