Mar 01, 2025Great resort, had an amazing time with group of girlfriends
Really enjoyed this resort. Visited with a group of girlfriends with preferred level. Definitely recommend for access to the adult-only pool and the preferred lounge. The bartender José at this pool was amazing. The main pool was beautiful but very loud and a lot of family noise by times. The lounge/bar area off this pool was a fantastic area and near the coffee and smoothie bars. The buffet was nice. Out of the sun, spacious, clean and air conditioned. The Blue Water Grill was amazing, including the breakfast. The other restaurants were good, the French one was our favourite. The staff everywhere were amazing. Would love to bring my family back here. The one negative - DO NOT make any arrangements (transportation or excursions) with the on-site Sunwing rep Amy. Plans did not complete properly and she was not familiar with the recommended excursion at all.

Feb 28, 2025Nice Beach vacation with Swim-out pool
Overall, it’s a nice resort, but we’re not sure if we would return. The swim-out rooms were awesome! You can’t beat the semi-private, quiet pool with good poolside drink service and a beachfront location away from the bustling main pool. They do a good job of cleaning the beach daily, and it’s overall a nice beach. That said, the rooms need a facelift, as maintenance was lacking for the cost of the resort, along with some of the facilities like the kids’ club and the Preferred Club. We traveled with two elementary-aged kids, making the kids’ club an important feature. However, it completely missed the mark due to limited facilities and activities, mixing young children under five with elementary and middle school-aged kids, lack of cleanliness, and overall staff engagement—especially compared to other resorts we’ve experienced. Simply put, our kids never wanted to go and hated when they had to, whether so we could enjoy the spa or the adults-only restaurants and pools. Another major issue we encountered was the overall food experience. Room service was inedible, and the basic lack of kids’ menu options at all restaurants completely missed the mark.

7 out of 10. A decent experience but could be better
It was what we expected after watching the videos and reviews. Staff was extremely friendly but the quality of the food was mediocre at best. We aren't picky by any stretch but this was just not the level it should be. Drinks at the multiple bars were great. We had to request housekeeping and never had a turn down service. The beach did have a lot of seaweed but they were out every day cleaning it. The water was not the crystal blue you see in the hotel zone but decent. We wouldn't stay again but for families it wouldn't be bad. Need to give a shout out though to the staff. They were friendly and engaging.

Karina from El Patio was great!! Food was good too. Pool and Beach were great and our rooms were very clean. I wish the volleyball court would stay on the beach everyday. No big deal though. Other than that we had a great time and would come back.

Excellent and everything we expected!
Excellent service and food. Mexican Restaurant we had same Waitress Karina was amazing. Entire staff was pleasant and quick to attend our needs. Rooms and restaurants were clean and staff made the experience a pleasure. We will return again
