wonderful and friendly staff. nice stay.
Great value. Staff were friendly and went out of there way to be helpful. Ian and Chuck in the buffet were wonderful. bernie in the 'travel' concierge office was great and the yoga instructor (young man) gave the best yoga class I have had in a while. Food was good but it is a buffet. Large selection. Very nice pool. Bahamas have the friendliest and most accommodating people I have experienced. Only one grumpy woman was at the Atlantis desk where we had a day pass. Fun day but one day is enough. Warwick is adults only - very nice.

Average at a push
The photos look amazing and resort does look like photos but everything else really lets it down. This is not a 4 star all-inclusive compared to most of the Caribbean- more 3 star. But for a cheap option in the Bahamas it's "adequate" but nothing to rave about or return. Highlights of areas for improvement: 1. On a 10 night stay we had to call reception 3 times for towels house keeping didnt leave ( even though we never put them in the bath to be changed as per their sustainability agenda) 2. Edgewater grill - booked at 7.30 and finally seated at 8.15 after been made to stand outside and wait. Then no dessert avaliable (there is another seating still to come at this point as well) 3. Buffet food is plentiful and varied but not even warm let alone hot 4. There is 1 main bar in the evening and frequently 1 member of staff is on their own, even on special cocktail nights, they do a brilliant job but should not be that rushed off their feet so service can be slow 5. Everything is plastic- plates, cups, glasses , everything and even made to decant your drinks from a plastic cup in the restaurant to a different plastic cup when you leave 6. Bedrooms are very dated and tatty round the edges. Not properly cleaned as we had hair from a previous guest on bathroom wall and sink the whole stay. Poor water pressure due to limescale build up on tap we removed. We had a minibar but no glasses - had miniature wine in minibar but only 2 paper coffee cups so if you already have had a hot drink you have to drink wine from the bottle! 7. Weekends are like being in a different hotel - day pass guests come in and the total atmosphere changes (not for the better) no longer a relaxing chilled resort but a roudy drunken mob 8. Beach / pool umbrellas are made to be put down for no apparent reason. It didn't get any windier but suddenly needed to be closed so you are just left in full sun as no other shade is available Positives; 1. Plenty of sunbeds available throughout day - dont need to get up early to reserve 2. Relaxing sea floots 3. Alcohol is not watered down, and drinks are strong (self-service wine at dinner in buffet) 4. Cute kitten comes to say hi at the firepit 5. Gym is well-equipped Had an ok stay whilst there but wouldnt return to this hotel or recommend to friends and family.

Save your money and find a real resort
Save your money this is the worst “resort” ever. We’re currently here and they tried to say the room we booked and paid for is unavailable. This was not communicated in advance and now two adults are sharing a room with double beds. I don’t sleep in a double at home so I’m very frustrated and will be requesting a refund for the lack of communication and overall how they’re handling this. Had we have known what we booked was not available, we could’ve made accommodations elsewhere.
