Apr 23, 2025Beautiful resort with everything you need!
My husband and I have been to a handful of resorts in the Caribbean, and this resort was by far the favorite for both of us! The views and beach alone are spectacular. The service provided by staff is top-tier. Whether you want a relaxing stay, or a stay with some entertainment, RIU Palace Kukulkan has it all. It is conveniently located about a 20 minute drive from the airport. The resort itself is designed in a way that it is quick to get anywhere on the resort without the feeling of being compacted into too close of quarters with everything. We loved this resort and are already planning to revisit it next year!

Great Birthday Experience
My wife and I just came back from this place, and I just can't say enough GREAT things about it !!!! We went down to celebrate my birthday & just have a relaxing chilled vacation. Any expectations I had were exceeded. I chose to stay here because it is only 3 years old and it had received very positive reviews. I also chose it because it was an Adults only place. There was a wide age variety of people, but it wasn't some loud, constant drunken party crowd. Everyone seemed to have fun within certain boundaries. As with many resorts we've stayed at.....it's generally all about the workers & staff. The place was kept impeccably clean at all times. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the Steak House for my birthday. When the hostess knew this, she made a surprise delivery of tiramisu, plus singers. There are plenty of activities that you can choose to take part in. There were also shows put on several nights. There were also their RIU Parties which were held at another resort. They provide FREE shuttle transport. They had a wide variety of food options, and the buffet (especially at dinner time) was much better than I had expected. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. I would no doubt be our Go-To anytime we travel to Cancun.

Relaxing Vacation
My husband and I were celebrating our 47th Anniversary, his 70th birthday and his retirement. The people who work at the resort we're truly remarkable. Everyone was very kind and considerate at every place we went to during our visit at the resort. The food was excellent at all the buffet and all the restaurants. Hope to go back again someday.

Amazing resort with the best staff!!
This resort is clean and well taken care of, we were comfortable our entire stay. The staff is the best! Ederson at the buffet, Victor and Alex at the door, Adrian at the main bar, Michael the wait staff, and Cesar, Valeria, Karina, Angel, and the whole entertainment team made the stay even more fun! Can’t wait to come back!
