Great resort
My husband and I loved our experience at this resort! The staff so friendly and accommodating. The beach beautiful, the food fantastic! The resort is in a hill overlooking the ocean. It is a tennis and golfing resort but we did t do any of that and still had a great time. The only thing negative I will say is that walking up the hill from the beach could be hard for people that are older as it is a steep hill. There is a van service you can call if you need assistance getting up the hill. But I highly recommend this island and this resort

Best of the best!
This resort is the best of the best! We have been coming for more than a decade. We noticed all the capital, operations and service improvements! The best is getting better. Do not miss dinner at the Mermaid on Monday and Tuesday nights. Very special experience. St. Croix will always be our very happy place. See you next year!

Wonderful resort hotel
The Buccaneer is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at, but also extremely family-friendly. The setting is as spectacular as you could imagine, the people are so nice, the food is great and the amenities are wonderful. Several people staying at the hotel during our stay had transferred here from other STX hotels after being disappointed with those places. Don’t hesitate to book!

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever been on.
The staff was some of the friendliest people we have ever encountered! From the front desk to the beach staff. Always smiling. Always willing to help in any way. Rooms were spacious and clean. The beach was relaxing and never had an issue getting chairs.

Virgin Islands - the best resort on St. Croix.
This resort is TOP NOTCH. The arrival experience, the service during the stay, and all of the staff. The food at the beach BBQ was wonderful. We found the grotto pool to be very enjoyable, and the wait staff at the grotto was particularly attentive, coming around frequently. Food, drink, towels, the staff at the grotto provided it all. The shuttle service was quick, efficient and the drivers were very friendly. I want to particularly mention Glen the bartender and Heather at the beach, they demonstrated the attentiveness I would hope to have. I don't write many reviews, but the Buccaneer rated a review. I will definitely be back! An awesome place to visit, and relax!
