    Mixed

My wife and I spent six nights at Seven Stars, traveling with another couple. We were looking forward to a pleasant stay at a luxury property. I can say that Seven Stars filled that description in some respects, but with some significant reservations. Our issues began during check-in. We had reserved an “ocean view” junior suite. The view was very important to us – in our view, it’s a key element of a beach vacation. We know that “ocean view” and “ocean front” are not the same and we did not expect rooms directly on the beach. However, “ocean view” generally means that you can see the ocean even if there are other things in your line of sight. Not the case here. The room we were first assigned was on the first (ground) floor, and while it faced in the general direction of the ocean (I think), all that was visible were the pool, the lounges around the deck and some of the palm trees that ringed the pool. I was unable to see the ocean at all, even on my tippy-toes (and I’m over 6 feet tall). Also, the pool view rooms offered no privacy unless the blinds were closed, and what’s the point of that? In most hotels, this would be considered a “pool view”, but Seven Stars does not use that category, nor does its website mention that some rooms directly look onto the pool. We went back to reception and told the manager on duty that we would not accept the room. I remarked to the manager that I would assume we were not the first people to complain about the misclassification and she did not disagree. After some resistance, she offered us two other choices. The first was a similar room on a higher floor, which we would have accepted, except … we asked whether the couple we were traveling with (who were to arrive a little later than we did) would have the same view that we were initially assigned, and it turns out that the room we were now being offered was the room that our friends were to have been given. So we couldn’t do that. The last option we were offered, after some hesitation, was a “penthouse” view room in another building. It did have a beautiful view of the ocean. It was said to be the same size as the room category we had booked, but it did not at all feel like it. The layout was very strange - small bedroom, large closet and lots of useless internal hallway space. And it had a queen-sized bed, a smaller bathroom and did not have a balcony. I think that room was listed at a higher price but I cannot explain why. We accepted that room for the first three nights of our stay until they could move us to a room that fit the description on the website. That room was very nice – well-designed, nice bed, 5th floor ocean view (over the pool, but not in an intrusive way) and what we had expected. (We were told that there are 8 ocean view junior suites, of which 3 are on pool level, so the chances of disappointment are decent.) The beachfront and pool areas were beautiful and well-kept, with plenty of comfortable chairs and well-placed umbrellas. Easy to spend the day out there. Staff was good although service was somewhat slow at times (not unusual in T&C). As for the other facets of the property, we were underwhelmed. In terms of vibe, there was a surprising listlessness to the property. We walked through several of the other hotels, including the Wyamar and Grace Bay Club, which had lively outdoor restaurants and grounds that were decorated festively, with holiday lights and lit up trees. Seven Stars was dark and subdued in comparison. Maybe they have guests who appreciate the low-key vibe but it stood out in relation to other hotels in their class. A number of the other amenities were dated and in need of refurbishment. The hotel brands itself as an “and spa” but has no hot tub, sauna or steam room, and limited shower facilities (you could not shower in their spa area unless you had a treatment). The fitness center has a decent amount of equipment but is too small for the size of the property. There is inadequate space to work out in peak hours and the mats have been through the wars. The tennis/pickleball courts are patched up in the manner of an aged public basketball court with many of the lights not working. The racquets had threadbare grips and no tension, and the balls were dead. A five-star property cannot have an offering like this. Seven Stars should either refurbish the courts or just do away with them (and maybe use some of the space to expand the fitness center). Oh, and there is a small market in the lobby area that was closed for renovation the last two days we were there (note that this was in mid-December). So all in all, I would say that if you are looking for a hotel with a nice beachfront and pool area and nice rooms, and don’t care much about other activities, then Seven Stars can fit the bill. And make sure when reserving that you know exactly what type of room you are getting and if you want an ocean view but don’t want to be right on the pool, then insist on a higher floor. But if the activities and other facilities matter, and if you want a somewhat more festive vibe, consider other options.

    Beautiful place

We stayed at Seven Stars in November of 2024. When we arrived we were greeted by a staff member with a tropical drink. It was delicious. After we checked in, Chrissy, gave us a tour of the place and brought us to our gorgeous room. The room was immaculate with a kitchen too! We loved our stay there. Everything was so nice. The daily free breakfast was great. Everyday they had a variety of different food. FYI- There is a service charge on all food purchased in the restaurants. This does not include your tip. The only complaint that we had was that there were only 2 bathrooms outside. One downstairs from the pool and one bathroom in the back of "The Deck" restaurant. I think there should be a bathroom near the pools. The bathroom in the back of The Deck had very poor lighting too. It was only a one stall bathroom. I feel for such a beautiful and big property that the bathroom facilities should be nicer and more centrally located. This was our only complaint. We loved this place and will be back. The staff was very friendly too. We hihly recommend this place.

    Amazing Hotel!

My second visit to this wonderful property. This is, by far, the best hotel I've ever stayed at (in regards to service and warmth). Chrissy at the front desk made our stay even more special with her warmth, friendliness and personal attention. She's an asset to Seven Stars! We look forward to our next stay this spring.

    Amazing & Extremely Enjoyable Visit

I loved the boat trip to iguana island and the service here was amazing. A big shoutout to Christina (Chrissy) from reception and Jay and Chama from the Seven restaurant and Rodney from the Deck restaurant. Also a shoutout for the crew of the Tide Runner from Caicos Island Charters.

    Paradise at Seven Stars

Seven stars was amazing jr suite facing ocean huge room with 1-1/2 baths large oversized patio. The free breakfast was awesome. The one caution don’t visit the Thursday Fish fry especially Mokies restaurant they served cold food weee very rude and I complained they call the cops lol. There are a lot of great restaurants to visit so eat out and about. The para sailing was $85 for 15 min but side of that and spa treatment just pure relaxation. There is a small casino at the Ritz Carlton next door and there bar has good snacks and sushi.
