Cesar and Eduardo in the Market Cafe Were Great
Cesar and Eduardo in the Market Cafe were exceptional and deserve a promotion! They made my birthday extra special and treated my husband and I with such kind hospitality and care. I am impressed! I highly suggest staying at this resort and visiting them!

Add salt and flavor please!!!
The staff is very friendly. Check-in was easy checkout was even easier. But the food was very tasteless and very mediocre. If you are going for the food, this is not the place for you. That’s the only negative thing I can say about this location with all the restaurants they had there wasn’t one that actually had decent food. They have three pools, get there early or you won’t get a chair. They have direct access to the beach, which was beautiful and easy. Do not waste your time with getting the discount for joining a three hour sales pitch. They say it’s going to be only 90 minutes and it turns out to be 3 hours. Housekeeping is great. The bartenders are great.

Would NEVER Go Back
Beautiful place that was ruined by hospitality & poor staff attitude. Furthermore, very cheap alcohol choices “ bottom shelf.” Food was below average. The all inclusive was not worth it. Service was terrible. Staff appeared annoyed to be working & addressing our questions. Honeymoon gone wrong.

This is Definitely Not a 5 Star Resort! It's a 3.5 - 4 Star Resort!
This Resort is Definitely Not a 5 Star!! It is a 3.5 - 4 Star at BEST!! This Resort is old, small, and outdated!! I do not recommend this Resort! I will definitely not be back!! My fiance and I stayed at this Resort November 18-25, 2024 and had the Preferred Club Master Suite Oceanview Room # 2832! I have to admit this decision is one of my worst decisions and a good way to waste my vacation and money ($11,800 Canadian Dollars)!! This is despite extensive research through reading reviews, watching Vlogers on Youtube. There was no air conditioning, the balcony doors in our room were so loose that wind was leaking in with howling sounds which sounded like a barking dog, the balcony doors were banging within the track rails because they were loose causing constant banging sounds. As a Preferred Club Member, I did not see or feel I was treated with added privileges as compared to non Preferred Club Members. The Preferred Club lounge is small, the Preferred Club Pool & Bar is on the 12th Floor which really separates you from the beach, other pools, pool bars and restaurants. There is no designated Preferred Club Section on the beach or other designated areas at the pools. Access to restaurants and what each restaurant offered was very confusing. As Preferred Club Members, we were not allowed to make reservations at the a la carte restaurants unless we were prepared to purchase wine which costed upwards of $80 USD - this was part of a Up Sell Cash Grab by the Resort!! In fact, I found the Resort using pressure tactics to upsell you every chance they got including in the Spa!! When we arrived at the Resort on the evening of November 18th after a lengthy travel, we were greeted with water mixed with Champaign which I thought it was to be Champaign - tasted awful. It was pouring rain when we arrived where there was no overhang to shelter away from the rain. It rained for the next day and a half which limited us from being outside and yet, there were no entertainment activities as a contingency plan. Because there was no air conditioning, the whole lobby area was like a sauna throughout our stay and yet they still had the fireplace on which generated heat! It was totally uncomfortable either being in the restaurants, lobby bar, or the lobby area with exception to the Sports Bar!! Despite my many requests to speak with the General Manager of the Resort to raise my issues, I had no success which leads me to believe they didn't care!!The beach is small and eroding!! We ate at the Mexican, Italian, and Steakhouse restaurants and the food was excellent. We ordered Room Service and this was excellent! The Staff were all excellent! This stay totally ruined my expensive vacation and yet, we tipped all staff quite a bit just to show that despite my issue with the Resort: it's not their fault that the Resort is not a 5 Star!! I say shame on you Hyatt, Secrets!

It was an overall great hotel
Very nice hotel one of our waiter's Cesar was very attentive. The food was really good in all the resturants. The resturants had alot of varieties of food. The rooms were really clean the bed were comfortable the personal in all were really helpful.
