Expectations Exceeded
My wife and I attended some 20 presentations at various resorts from San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas. We knew that we wanted to spend 4 to 6 weeks in this area during our winter months and wanted to ensure that we chose the right location. Although several resorts were more worthy of our consideration than others, NONE even came close to impressing us so completely as did the Sandos Finisterra. 1st on the list is its location. It is centrally located in the nucleus of Cabo with absolutely everything being a short walk from the resort, yet sits nestled quietly on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The facilities and grounds that surround the several pools, all exude class, without being ostentatious. They rather tastefully reflect the desert atmosphere for which this area is known. The several restaurants offer quality food tastefully prepared with room service being offered most any time day or night. Nicki, the gracious and hands on director, must be credited with choosing her staff carefully, as they are incredibly friendly and personable. They sincerely appear to enjoy what they do and create an atmosphere of wanting to do whatever they can to ensure that their guests are not disappointed.....even the maintenance personnel and grounds keepers greeted everyone in a friendly manner. My wife and I are both seniors and are careful how we spend our pension income on non-essentials. Each year that we return to this resort, we are again reminded of the value we receive as Royal Elite members. (Our children and grand-children have also joined with us here and they enjoy it as much as we do as there are activities for everyone) Carole & Dale W. Pinchin, Chilliwack, B.C., Canada

Exactly what we were looking for! Good food, good drinks and great people.
I want to start by saying that I rarely take the time to go back and review something, but I knew I wanted to this time. The Sandos Finisterra is not a luxury resort, but it is exactly what we were looking for and everything that we needed. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the fridge was always stocked. The food was quite good, particularly the steak and fish tacos at Agave, and the salmon at the Italian restaurant. The entertainment was exactly that, entertaining. Was some of it a little corny? Yes. But it definitely entertained. The thing that really made the Sandos stand out to us though was the staff. It didn't matter if it was a maid, a repairman or a gardener, every person you passed met you with a smile and a greeting, and it always seemed so genuine. Every person that we interacted with made our day better. Two people that truly went above and beyond that we have to highlight were our servers Benjamin and Luis! We were all genuinely happy to see them in the morning, around the pools or in the restaurants, and were truly sad to say goodbye to. Those two alone made us want to come back.

Cabo Disappointment
Not at all worth the money. Resort is very dated. Food is subpar. Rooms have limited amenities for an All Inclusive. Our stay was over New Years. Service was very poor on New Year’s day, restaurants were closed except for 1 and that restaurant was booked solid. Pressure to sit through a time share presentation upon check in. Convenience store on property could not provide change for cash purchases, and that was for 4 electrolit beverages at $42.00. Your money can be much better spent somewhere else.

Wonderful resort
Beautiful, spotlessly clean and fantastic resort. Great service from everybody. They went out of their way to make me vegan food which was delicious. Perfect location for Cabo. Beautiful big beach, although not swimmable. Concierge 10/10. Highly recommended.

Excellent
This is one of the best resorts we have stayed at. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, especially Yazmin at Tortuga by the beach. We had lunch there everyday just so we could have here as our server!! The entire resort is great as well and highly recommended!!
