our second home away from home
We have stayed at his hotel from November 13-20. This is our xx time (more than 20 times). Here is what we liked about this hotel: Impeccable customer services. The room was clean. The buffet foods were good and there was a rich variety of food.. We loved the buffet and the following restaurants a la carte: the japanese, the steak house, the Argentine and the peruvian There are 4 hotels in this resort. We could walk from one hotel to the others in a corridor with a sun roof. Here are the things that we liked less: The beach is narrow Foods in the italian restaurant were just warm , the entries, soup and the main course. We left the same comment last year and have not seen any improvement. A special thank you to Altagracia and Britany from the guest service, Altagrcia used the `thinking out of the box`to make the restaurants reservation for us. We thank Jose B from the front desk who worked hard to solve the issue with our electronic room key. Finaly a big thank you to the management team who exceeded our expectation! Overall, as usual, we had great time in this hotel as well as we did in the Bavaro hotel in the previous times. We will be back next spring 2025 Trinh family from Canada

Great resort!
Rooms and restaurants were great, and excellent service at the pool. El Dorado Steakhouse was wonderful. The beach was beautiful with lots of chairs for everyone. The only negative isn't the resort itself, but the insistent vendors on the beach. Great vacation overall! ❤️❤️❤️

Great Experience
I came on the trip for a fortieth birthday celebration and I was not excited about the resort until we met Christian at the Hemingway bar. Christian was very welcoming and helped to make my twin best friends birthdays special. He made us feel so welcome. Thank you Christian.

So much has changed
This was my 5th time visiting the Dominican Republic and so much has changed due to gentrification and the pandemic. Too much to type. One thing stood out the most: many brands are "selling" luxury, but falling short. This definitely was NOT a 5-star resort.

Disappointing return trip
We have been twice before and the experience this time was so unbelievably disappointing and other families had exactly the same experience. It’s gone from a friendly, helpful resort to a worn out and unhelpful resort. The staff were more interested in being on their phones ALL the time and applying make up at restaurant check ins than assisting and helping us find our table. We waited 50 mins for a drink at the restaurants and customer service was not top of mind. We were with a disabled member of our group and they were asked to sit on the floor on the restaurant to eat dinner. Cleaning services were in groups outside our rooms prior to 9am being so loud, shouting and giggling. Towels and bottles were left in the apartment lobby for days upon end and we had severe flooding in our room. Hotel needs a face lift and customer service needs a BIG review. Yarby was an exception and was AMAZING.
