Better Places to Stay
I personally would not recommend this hotel. The random placing of door stops in the room pissed me off, they only partially opened, then they put one directly in front of the toilet, so be careful I almost broke my toe on more than one occasion. The food is AWFUL!!!! We found ourselves only having breakfast there and going out for lunch and dinner, some people were taking cabs to McDonalds which tells you all you need to know in that aspect, you can't get reservations to any of the fine dining restaurants on the property, there wasn't much entertainment. They had a shows by the pool but they were just okay. I did like that it wasn't far from the downtown area.

Awful. Should’ve paid closer attention to the reviews
The worst all-inclusive experience I’ve ever had. Not sure how it can have a 3 1/2-4 star rating on TripAdvisor when 80% of the reviews were negative since 2023 (I had no patience to look at older reviews to see if there was a period that the resort had mostly positive reviews). Check-in was weird. Instead of the regular lobby check in, they brought you to an office like area to check in. They checked us in but since we were early, they had us come back at 3:30 to get the room number and then sent us back to the bellboys to get our luggage. While we waited for a room, they let us eat at their buffet restaurant. Food was sub par and the selection was limited. Things didn’t improve in the food situation for dinner. Out of the 14 restaurant choices they boast in their marketing, only 2 or so were available for standard guests. You would need to pay extra to be in their pyramid premium plan to be able to dine at the other restaurants. Given that most of the guests have the standard plan, the limited restaurants all had lines (buffet) and had 1-2 hour wait (specialty). No idea why buffet sitting had long lines when there were a lot of empty tables at the place. —- who would’ve thought that one can go hungry at an all-inclusive resort?!? Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with us either. There were limited places one can go and relax or hang out, aside from your room, while it was raining. Only option was the dark sports enclosed sports bar. There was no open air space /lobby to hang out in for standard guests. I think there were a few for premium pyramid guests. Room was ok. Clean and comfortable enough although the airconditioning thermostat couldn’t be adjusted. It was cold! Staff were slow and bored looking and some were rude. It’s like they go out of their way to make sure you don’t have a good time. I wish I paid more attention to the reviews. With all the negative reviews from 2023 and responses from the resort, you’ll think they would’ve already made some changes but the old reviews resonate till this day. Never again with any of the Oasis resorts. So disappointed.

Rundown Facilities at Grand Oasis booked by Monster Group
We were booked a stay through a third-party by monster group vacations. We got here and realized that our room was in the rundown part of the resort. Do not bother staying at this resort if you're not in the pyramid selection of accommodations, our hotel room had plumbing issues. The shower had no showerhead. The curtains had mildew They completely neglected this side of the resort they responded to none of our service calls. We had to go down to concierge every single time to get our needs met . Only Alberto made efforts to make our stay halfway decent everybody else behaved like we were in their way. Stay clear there are better resorts out there!!!
