DON’T GET SICK
Couples Tower Isle is calm, beautiful and most of the staff are awesome. BUT DON’T GET SICK!!! My aunt visiting from the UK fell ill at lunch in the main dining area and started vomiting profusely. The “nurse” appeared to be untrained, was unprofessional, unsympathetic and treated my aunt and our family as if we were bothering her. When my in law asked about a wheelchair she was not helpful and said “ask front desk”. She took her blood pressure one time and decided it was very high so my aunt must be having a stroke and needed to go to the local hospital. She was cold and had a negative attitude. Please note that my parents love Couples Tower Isle and have stayed at the property at least 20 times over the years. So it breaks my heart to write anything negative. When my aunt came to visit my parents in Florida, they couldn’t wait to take her to Couples Tower Isle despite the many other options available. IF YOU GET SICK, YOU ARE APPARENTLY ON YOUR OWN AT COUPLES.

A Day in the Life
The day starts with the sun peeking through and I gather my beach essentials and put on a swimsuit and slip out of the room. I find my daily cup of oatmilk latte made by my favorite barista Omar. Soon, my yoga session (with Anne this week-who was so awesome) begins, it’s the middle of the week, so there are lots of familiar faces and conversations happening before class. The resort is small enough that if I am looking for friends, it usually isn’t too hard to find them, but we have a grouping underneath one of the beautiful trees on the beach. It’s an easy meeting point for all of our snorkeling and scuba excursions, and it’s where the hobby sailing rides launch from. Today is a glass bottom boat ride, and 10 from our group head out to learn all about the coastline and sea life from Jumanee. We are all so glad that we booked this free excursion from the resort. It is so informative and beautiful. We return and set up on the beach . I make a quick round with a paddle board and stick our red flag in the sand. Soon Aneita comes by with our drink orders. When we get hungry, we meander to the buffet lunch, some people choosing to do the vegetarian only beach stand. They’ve fallen in love with the grilled cheese sandwiches. Personally, I’m looking forward to the salad bar and unique pizza offerings. Joel is once again our server and keeps my water glass filled again asking if I want anything from the bar. Tonight, we are all headed to Bayside. One of the two reservation required options. We all fall in love with the appetizer platter for two in our service from Michelle. Everyone is digging the Asian cuisine. Over dinner we discuss some of the excursions that various people have taken over the week. Some went shopping in Ocho Rios, some went horseback riding and to the blue hole and stopped at what sounds like an epic fried chicken lunch. Of course there were those that had to experience Dunn River Falls. Fast forward to the end of the week, we are all happy with our choice to congregate at this resort. My husband and I spent a day at the sister resort that is more spread out and absolutely worth the trip. Highlights for people were the access to water sports, that we were happy to experience earlier in the week before the red flag warnings came up, the scuba diving through caverns, the awesome spa treatments, the nature walk, and the eight rivers dinner. Some of the entertainment was truly epic, and the piano bar was always good for a few stories. We made the staff know how much we truly appreciated them, they work so hard to make our week so easy.

The place with excellent food and service
The service, food and drinks were excellent. The people were awesome so nice How ever the use of towels to save chairs and not use them needs to be addressed. Out of a week there we got a chair by main pool once and never got one by the pool bar at all. Undecided if we will return it’s a long drive and not to be able to sit by either pool really sucks

Worth the stay with the right expectations.
Relaxing Stay with a Few Surprises – Worth It with a Couple Tips! We recently stayed at Couples Tower Isle and booked our trip through Delta Vacations, which included Club MoBay and private airport transfers—both of which I highly recommend! Private transfer is absolutely the way to go. The ride from Montego Bay to the resort is about 1 hour and 45 minutes, and having a comfortable, air-conditioned car to ourselves was so much better than waiting on a crowded shuttle bus making multiple stops. I hadn’t heard of Club MoBay before this trip, but wow—what a game changer! Upon arrival, someone was waiting for us at the gate, walked us past long immigration and customs lines, helped us grab our luggage, and escorted us to a lounge with snacks and drinks while we waited for our ride. The departure lounge was even better—larger, with a full bar, good food, and a much calmer atmosphere than the main terminal. Now, onto the resort itself. We stayed in a Garden Junior Suite in Building 3. The room was spacious, clean, and well-kept. The overall property is beautifully maintained and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There are a few areas where the resort could improve: • Food: This was probably the biggest letdown. The variety and flavor just didn’t meet expectations, especially compared to cruise ship dining. Portion sizes were small (not necessarily a bad thing), but I often found myself ordering two entrees—which the staff were happy to accommodate. • Reservations: You can only make one reservation every five days for the two reservation-required restaurants, which felt limiting. And although the Verandah doesn’t require reservations, we waited 45 minutes for a table at 8:00 PM. • Activities: Definitely book excursions ASAP. I went to reserve the catamaran cruise right after checking in, and it was already fully booked for the week—which was frustrating. • Noise: Light sleepers, bring earplugs or a white noise machine. There’s a rooster that starts crowing around 4:30 AM, a water feature near the lobby that starts up around 6:30 AM, and landscapers begin work before 7. You can also hear the cars from the road. • Beach & Pool: The beach is pretty but small. Chairs were always available, which was great. However, beach drink service is inconsistent—you’ll need to put up a red flag for service, and even then, it was hit or miss. The pools could be cleaner; the swim-up bar pool had a noticeable film of sunscreen, and the main pool had quite a bit of sand build-up. • Spa: Excellent! Very relaxing and well-maintained. • Bird cages: These could use some TLC. As someone familiar with exotic birds (my dad owned a bird store for 25 years), I noticed the birds didn’t have any toys, the nest boxes were worn down, and the cages really need new wooden perches. Overall, we had a relaxing time, especially thanks to the upgrades from Delta Vacations. If you go in with the right expectations and use some of these tips, you’ll enjoy your stay. The resort has great potential, and with a few tweaks, it could be truly exceptional.

Wonderful Week at CTI 🥰
We had such a fantastic week at Tower Isle!! The resort is clean, the rooms are clean, the food and drinks are all delicious, and the staff are top notch!!! The flag service on the beach and by the main pool was great! The piano bar sing along was so entertaining! Great job! The extra inclusions here are fantastic, take advantage! Get a couples massage! Absolutely amazing! The activities were well organized. We enjoyed the wine tasting, martinis on the roof, special event nights on the beach and around the pool, the disco, headphone party, and many more. A special thank you to Jean who cleaned our room (#3311) every day. Such a sweet, caring woman who took care of every detail perfectly! Suzan from the coffee shop and the buffet was so kind and had a smile and hug for us every day! Thank you! Bryan from the disco and rooftop bar who said “anything you want” every time we saw him; always kind and sincere! We loved our conversations with you! Fantastic service from LaToya at the swim up bar. You made me smile every time I saw you! And you made such great drinks!! My girl Whitley from the main pool bar and the piano bar, your personality says it all. So bubbly! You are the shot queen! Thank you for spending time with us! And Tahjay… my friend from the main pool bar. Exceptional service! Tahjay went above and beyond for us! He looked after our needs and made us smile every day. We asked him to make a different drink for us every time he saw us and he did. So much fun! Very creative! Thank you Tahjay! We loved interacting with our staff connections at Couples Tower Isle! ❤️ Your staff are so wonderful!!! We will be back!!
