1. Passport
Okay, this might be obvious, but you wouldn’t believe how many people forget their passport in the hustle and bustle of packing! Some islands, like Puerto Rico and the USVI, don’t require a passport, but it’s always handy to have it.
2. Fun swimsuits
If you’re going to be living your best life on the beach, obviously you need some cute swimsuits. Whether you’re ready to flaunt your stuff or not, it’s always helpful to have a few swimmies to choose from.
3. Sunglasses
Heading to the beach means prepping for loads of sunshine. Bring those pretty sunnies along to protect your eyes at the pool or beach.
4. Environment-safe Sunscreen
Ocean conservation is important–and what a perfect way to do your part! With environment-safe sunscreen, you’ll not only help protect the environment but also your own skin from toxic ingredients and chemicals.
5. Comfortable Shoes
Whether you decide to hike a volcano or take an ATV through the rainforest, you’ll want some comfortable shoes for your excursions! If your adventure will take you through bodies of water, you might want to pack water shoes so that you don’t mess up your favorite kicks.
6. Medications
Anytime you’re travelling, you’ll always want your necessary meds–but it wouldn’t hurt to bring along Tylenol, Pepto or allergy meds, too.
7. Camera
Yes, yes, we know you have an amazing camera on your phone, but if you have a knack for pictures, it wouldn't hurt to bring a digital camera to get MORE amazing shots at some of the world’s best beaches.
8. Waterproof Phone Pouch
Whether you’re by the pool or the sea, you’ll want to have a waterproof pouch to hold your phone. This lets you take pics without stressing about the water ruining your phone and it also comes in handy when you go on excursions!
9. Beach Towel
While most resorts will provide towels, sometimes there’s nothing better than a cute beach towel to bring along.
10. Bluetooth Speaker
Pools will most likely have music playing, but hitting the beach is a little different. It wouldn’t hurt to bring a small Bluetooth speaker to jam out on the beach.
