We're kicking off this year's recipes with the perfect cocktail for your Super Bowl Sunday watch party! It takes less than five minutes to make, and it's oh-so-tasty. This Tequila Touchdown cocktail is a twist on the popular Tequila Sunrise, without as much tartness in flavor--though that ingredient is optional, if you rather the tart.
Tequila Touchdown
A Super Bowl twist on the Tequila Sunrise.
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tbsp grenadine (optional)
- 3/4 cup club soda
- 2 strips lemon zest (for garnish)

In a glass pitcher, pour in the orange juice, tequila and lemon juice.

Optional: slightly tip the pitcher at an angle and slowly pour grenadine down the side for a more Tequila Sunrise look/taste!

Pour into two glasses and top each off with club soda.

Stir, garnish and enjoy!
