El Yunque National Forest

There are over 250 different plant species and even more variety of animal species, but scientists still have not discovered all of the plants and animals in El Yunque Forest! In this massive National Forest, you can explore the unknown and hike through the lush vegetation, zip line through the trees or, if you're really brave, experience the forest at night with a twilight rainforest nature walk.

Camuy Caves

Formerly named Parque Las Cavernas del Rio Camuy, these caves are a true delight in Puerto Rico. Below the Earth's surface are these ancient caves that provide hours on hours of exploring.

Playa Negra (Black Sand Beach)

Playa Negra is certainly a natural wonder. Located on the southern shore of Vieques is this gorgeous sight. The black sand from runoff of magma from Monte Pirata. You can usually see the most noticeable black sand when there has been ample rainfall.

Castillo San Felipe del Morro

This awe-inspiring sight is a 485 year old fort that was once the main point of protection against attacks stands at the entrance to San Juan Bay. You can explore where real soldiers would gather in the plaza or take in the views of the bay over the top of the fort.
