Is any week complete if you haven't had a batch of homemade tortilla chips? Definitely not! We love how easy it is to whip a batch up from leftover tortillas (or a whole new pack) from other meals.
This homemade tortilla chips recipe is the perfect recipe to make in small batches so you don't have anything that goes to waste! But lets be honest, you'll devour these before the thought of leftovers ever crosses your mind.
Homemade Tortilla Chips
- Corn tortillas
- 1 Cup Cooking oil
- 2 tbsp Tajin seasoning (or any kind of chili seasoning)
- Salt (To taste)
- 1/2 Lime Juiced

Heat oven to 325 degrees F.

Cut tortillas in to wedges. Either fourths or sixths works best

Mix cooking oil, lime juice, salt, and Tajin seasoning together.

Dip slices of tortilla in to oil and spice mixture, coating the chip.

Line wedges of tortilla on a baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes on one side, flip, and bake 10-12 minutes on the other side. Time may vary depending on your oven.

Remove chips from oven and place on a drying rack or paper towel so any excess oil can run off. Once cooled, enjoy!
