Beauty beyond the coastline
With everyone flocking to the coasts of Mexico, it’s easy to miss the inland beauty of the country. Bacalar Lagoon is an inland lagoon located about three hours south of Playa del Carmen. It is referred to as the “Maldives of Mexico” for its seven stunning shades of blue that create the waters.
