The Soggy Dollar is an absolute must-visit beach bar when in the BVI, mainly for its world-famous and original Painkiller! This rum cocktail combines coconut cream, pineapple juice, orange juice and a splash of grenadine, but unless you live on the island of Jost Van Dyke (which only 220 people do), you’ll have to swim to the infamous beach bar. There’s a clothesline where you can hang your clothes and dollar bills to dry as you sip all your worries away. The name is making sense now, isn’t it?
Not Your Average Bath
We’re not talking about any classic porcelain tub. The Baths in Virgin Gorda are a natural wonder of towering granite boulders and shallow blue waters. It’s kind of like a maze! We do recommend bringing some water shoes as the boulders can be slippery. Once you find your way through the Baths, you’ll stumble upon the glorious sands of Devil’s Bay where you can snorkel and sunbathe. It’s the perfect semi-adventurous, totally-Instagrammable adventure!
