True Beach Lovers, it's that time of year again and we’re SO excited to announce the 2019 Noble Beach Prize winners!
For those who don't know, the Noble Beach Prize awards allow us to recognize resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America for being chic, dreamy and an overall beachy experience. It's a fun way to let these awesome resorts know just how awesome they are, and for us to tell you all about them!
Resorts are encouraged to submit an online application for 17 of 18 categories. Once applications are collected, we send them to our internal judges at CheapCaribbean as well as our external, travel-savvy group. Votes get tallied and, voila, we have our winners!
But why can resorts only submit for 17 categories? What happens with the final one?
This year, we introduced the Golden Pineapple Award– a category that reflects the opinion of our favorite people--the customers... yes, that means you! We gathered our top 10 customer-rated properties and had you take a poll through email and social media to see which of those resorts win the Golden Pineapple Award.
