Trip of a lifetime. Everything was perfection. Service was impeccable and everyone was so friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. Alberto was wonderful and remembered our names from day 1. Our butlers Fernanda and Liz were top notch and anything we wanted they made happen. The resort is amazing, we stayed in premium overwater bungalow and it was 100% worth the cost. Food was delicious, room service menu was excellent too. We ate nearly every meal in Palafitos restaurant and it was exceptional. We had the best waiter - Julian- each night. Yes there is seaweed but they stay on top of it and clean it up every day. It honestly never bothered us or stopped us from snorkeling and going in the water. The only thing, and it is minor, is that there are ugly black sandbags in front of the bungalows. I wish they could figure out a different option because it is an eye sore. But we will definitely be back!

Perfect place to Celebrate our 30th Anniversary!
We had an amazing time celebrating our 30th Anniversary at the Palifitos! The personal butler service, stunning bungalow and 5 star food was more wonderful than we had imagined. We can’t wait to go back to make more amazing memories ✨️

Palafitos Overwater Bungalows
Hands down the BEST service we have received in all of our travels. Alberto greeted us when we arrived and remembered us by name every time we crossed paths. Our primary butler, Enrique, treated us like family. He was always there when you needed him, but was never intrusive. They made us feel like royalty. The food…AMAZING. Every meal was made to order. My wife is gluten-free and they not only accommodated her needs with special meals, but went above and beyond. At breakfast after our first night, Bladmir brought out a warm gluten-free muffin for her without being asked to do so. The food was high quality and the service from Bladmir and Arturo was exceptional. Room service was quick and delicious. Our stay coincided with a really bad seaweed influx on the beach. Nothing the resort could do or control, but the amount of work they did with skid-steers, tractors, pitchforks and rakes to combat the seaweed was impressive. Their team worked tirelessly to provide the best experience possible for their guests. We rarely go the same place twice because there are so many beautiful destinations and resorts to visit throughout the Caribbean, but Palafitos will be getting a return visit.

Palafitos Over Water Bungalows
We stayed at the Palafitos Over Water Bungalows. There is not enough words to describe how amazing the food and the service was. This was the most amazing vacation that I have ever had. Everyone on staff was pleasant and more than accommodating. And the food, the food was fantastic! You will never have to lift a finger for anything at your stay. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Excellent Honeymoon Getaway
Absolutely everything was amazing. Alberto was the best! The butler service was amazing. Our stay at Palafitos was the very first time I didn't have anything to complain about and I am extremely hard to please. This was our honeymoon trip and it was perfect. Thank you to all the Palafitos staff, this is the definition of hospitality. We will be back for anniversaries.
