Perfect holiday!
After negative reviews we were concerned about our holiday However we had a fabulous holiday. Great location, wonderful staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Great choice of food, entertainment was perfect day and night. The entertainment crew AKA Spicy and Jordan were amazing! Got everyone involved such lovely people. Can’t name all the staff but they were all lovely. Shout out to Colin! Rooms are dated but in good order air con was the best. We had room 738 amazing views of sea and mountains. Room was cleaned every day. We really cannot fault anything. We cannot understand why people have complained about this resort! Perfect holiday. Thankyou.

Pros outweigh cons
Just got back from Rose Hall two days ago. My sister and I had a very good time. The staff is great probably the best part of the whole experience. Generally the food is very good. Some of the best ala carte meals I’ve had. The Rum Factory, the Steakhouse and Italian are very good. So is the Jerk Hut. The buffet did not disappoint as well. This is an older hotel and it shows. The rooms are definitely basic as well as the bathrooms. The halls are dark and carpeted and the main ding hall is dark and to me has a weird medieval vibe. The whole placed needs to be lightened up. Renovations were being done while we we there. This hotel is a 3.5 or 4 star experience. The grounds are nicely kept and the pool and lazy River are great. The beach is a little is a little disappointing as the sand is tightly paced and over plowed. The beach past the pier is very calm but looks slightly abandoned. Water is pretty clear but not picture perfect blue. I would say if you can get a great deal on this hotel I would go for it. This is not a luxury hotel but offers more than enough to make your stay enjoyable. Also if you can bring some dry food for the resident cats. They love it 😻

Staff are amazing and the reason we return
My 7th holiday to Dreams Rose Hall, Montego Bay is just coming to an end and I don’t want to go home. From the moment of check in you are made to feel welcome. I need to mention just a few of the staff that make our holiday special, Samantha, Denny and Terence in Fresh, Shanta, Rhoan and Hermon on the beach cabanas, Adrian, Nishinet and Wendy on sports. Most of all, the most helpful lady we have come across is Chadene, she is always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay extra special, we email her with requests before we arrive and she arranges everything for us. She arranged my dads 80th birthday two years ago and has just arranged my 60th, from booking special meals, balloons in the cabana and even a room full of balloons which completely overwhelmed me as to how special it made me feel. All we need to do is email her and she arranges whatever we need, she is so special to us she feels like part of the family. Staff like this are the reason we return to this hotel, they make your stay so special.

Receptionist help needed for hotel.
Reception staff weren’t the best. Check in was the worst part of my stay there. Ashmara was rude and tried to be as unhelpful as possible. Restaurants and their staff were great. Bellmen were also very helpful and provided the information that was asked of the resorptionist at check in.

So sad to see it like this
I’ve been coming here for three years. It was always a great experience, but under new ownership, it has gone downhill. We had to move rooms three times because of random issues—the room wasn’t clean, the bathroom was broken, and the beds I paid for were wrong. Some staff were very rude to my family. Many were helpful, but the ones who weren’t really stood out. They lost my sister’s reservation and then tried to make her pay again. The hot tubs were down, along with many other things. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m., and apparently they now expect you to leave exactly at that time. This wasn’t conveyed to us. In fact, I even told the lady who checked us out that we were going to be there for a while longer (our flight didn’t take off for some time), and she said that was fine. We have done this every year we’ve been here. Later, I was escorted out by security, which was horribly embarrassing. It’s sad to see what’s become of my favorite resort.
