Never disappoints! We just completed our sixth visit to VIM and each time it gets better and better! We had a swim up, as we always do and everything was absolutely made perfect by the friendly and attentive staff - especially Joselo, Customer Care Manager and our building concierge, Maurizio. Joselo was so helpful in assuring our reservation was perfect and our experience beyond expectations. Maurizio was a delight and ensured all our requests were met in a timely fashion. The food was very good and the staff- what more can be said. Everyone we encountered were so helpful and friendly! Special shout out to Israel of the Go Team and Oscar in the Sports Bar- so very kind, professional and friendly! We are already planning our 7th visit!

Beautiful Resort
Gorgeous location, excellent service, delicious food! All staff work so hard and always with a smile but an extra special shout out to Miguel at the golden pool for keeping us hydrated and to Dora for her energy and humour. We can see why there are so many repeat visitors, we hope to return as well. Highly recommend.

Honeymoon in Paradise!!!
My wife and I got engaged at the VIM in 2016. We married later in 2016, but never took a true honeymoon so we decided to come back to the VIM. We were there for a week at the end of January. This resort is the most relaxing place we go. Every thing is 5 star. Service, food, pools, bar staff, entertainment, spa, and beach. The one thing about the VIM that sets it a part from every where else is the service. So many great staff that make everyday special. We do the Prive package when we go because it makes a great vacation in better. Highly recommend the Valentín Imperial Riviera Maya if want a relaxing vacation with every detail taken care of. We’ve already booked 2+ weeks for January 2026. It’s going to be amazing!!!

Great time!
We had a very relaxing holiday at Valentin, it was the second time we visited in 6 years. It is a very different hotel to most as its surroundings are very natural with plenty of green spaces. The only criticism we would give is the request that guests wear long trousers in restaurants - we did not know this and my husband had to wear the same trousers for the whole week each evening, rather than his smart shorts which he was able to wear at another resort which was of a higher hotel rating. The rooms are very clean food options are good. The staff all appeared to work very hard. We had interaction with few staff on our trip and would give a shout out to Marcial who works at the martini bar, Maria who was very efficient who worked at Le Marché at front of house and to Dora who was very personable and clearly loves her job!

Chef’s Table!
First day of our 10th return trip and decided to try the Chef’s Table. Chef Eduardo is a genius and our server, Fernando, was incredibly knowledgeable about each dish and its wine pairing. Worth every penny for a wonderful experience and a delicious, creative seven course meal.
